Welcome to the review of the new S.M.O. carbon fiber shaft from JFlowers.
As a big fan of the brand, I had to get my hands on it and its absolutley amazing!
Shoots great, has a nice low pitch sound and the design is very clever with the silver ringworks on the butt and collar.

@2:00 As of today, it comes with a standard TAOM Fusion med/hard tip. I Wish Seyberts would carry it so I could change it to fit a Cuetec carbon butt and other customizations.

I'm going nuts trying to find a 3/8 14, 20mm carbon shaft that's flush with my cuetec carbon butt that isn't $400+. The only one I've found is 21.5 mm at the joint. This is the same price as a Cynergy. Go with that. I've watched the SMO video and there are some factors in play were they could easily fake the results.

Just saying it feels and sounds different is not really a ringing endorsement for the smo shaft. What were your impressions of the shaft, other than feeling and sounding different?

Thank you for the comment. Maybe I should elaborate it more in the video. The shaft seems to have a more compact feeling when shooting. It was a wierd feeling at first since I didnt have to compensate spin shots that much. Great sound, a nice low pitch. Other than the great preformance, I find the design very sleek with the silver ringworks and the thic white ferrule.

@@longpotbilliards Thank you for the response and for the clarification. I've been looking to buy a jflowers cue, and of course when I'm ready to lay the money down they come out with 2 new shafts and now, once again, it's decisions decisions ugh lol. That's why I wanted to get a clearer understanding of how the shaft performed by an experienced jflowers shooter, such as yourself, before making my final decision. Thanks once again for the quick response and clarification.

@@matthewbaney2660 a pleasure 👍 You definetly cant go wrong with a JFlowers. I believe its a huge dilema since the 2 new shafts were just released. The classic CF shaft is also great since it has low deflection on its own but the SMO goes below that. It even comes with a taom fusion medium tip by default wich is a clever move. 👏 Do let me know when you join the family and share your experience & impressions 💪

there was this cue manufacter they brag its 0 deflection,i messaged jacoby cues,they said theres no such thing for a shaft thats 0 deflection

They get you to get there name out there and then kick them off the referral program before paying them out. That’s what they did to my wife and for sydnes mistake not my wife’s. Revo is a great shaft 👍 Nevertheless, JFlowers SMO is the new kid on the block that is comparable with the big guys for much less $$ 🙂

And things constantly change boy @youtuberBOY. So now revo is no longer the king of deflection. Someone else will be for longer. And there were people before predator existed that were the king of low deflection. But you're just a boy with much to learn

I have had extremely bad experiences with this cue and JFlower backing their supposed customer service... buy from them again NO! I will never do business with them again.
