To be honest we filmed this like a month ago and didn't know the Khorne book was coming at the time haha

Honestly, for the better. Old KO was basically quite non interactive for your opponent unless they had a lot of ranged/speed. It became a game of shooting gallery against slow armies and just hoping to do enough damage to clear them off of objectives. Now they have to actually play the game which is better for everyone, KO included.

He didnt really use the best stuff they have... The new frigates are whats badass and skywardens.

In the new tome riggers are battleline if there are any endrinmasters in your army

I completely misread that page, if ANY endrinmasters are in the army is actually insane.

The old wasn’t as bad as many thought imho. Still excited for the new one and also a bit scared that it will be Frkn strong xD

Yeah i use to play the skywarden skyport with the charge, and its better than it use to be now

Skywardens are good now, put barak-zon as sub faction and yeet 9 skywardens in a frigate with a endrinmaster with bombs and an admiral and 1st turn charge and watch it die, its easy to charge with the frigate since you can 3D6 charge, do mortals on hit, and let them jump out and engage enemy with assault boat ability, skywardens get a 2'' 2+ 2+ -2 2 damage stat, + -1 rend with Admiral ability, and they'll destroy everything they touch, endrinmaster can also do lots of MW with the artifact yeah its difficult to not make a shooty only list anymore since combat is now more viable with KO

He didn't charge ... 6" pile in from the ability of the bloodthirster

Sneaky Khorne shenanigans. The Bloodthirster of Unfettered Fury allows a 6" pile in with its command ability, which he was using every turn for free with a relic. Run and nudge up next to your opponent, then bypass charging, pile in, and fight.

@@Ohfishyfishyfish I'm aware of the 6" pile in. Might have been the VO and the timing. Was hard to tell what happened there.

Skarbrand doesn't fly. If one of the boomthirster does 2 sixes, then it is 8 mortal wounds for everything inside 8"... thus killing everything. Skarbrand can kill only one thing.

@@squigdwarf Doesn't matter, the Navigator can slow down any unit (doesn't need to fly). Getting two sixes is also incredibly unlikely on the Boomthirster. Do you honestly think that a normal Thirster is a higher priority target than Skarbrand, who is pretty much the ONLY unit in the entire book that keeps BoK a somewhat viable choice for tourneys? Sorry good sir, but no, I disagree. Skarbrand - especially if he fights twice AND can pile in 6" - will just wreck whatever he touches. KO should have killed him asap but didn't and payed the obvious price.

I think Carl did a fine job. If you watched at the end of the game. They analyzed their game and went over key points. You sounded harsh from that comment. Didn't really considered adapting to a new book will take time.

@@evangannon8118 I think that this list wasn't bad, but honestly he needs to drop arks for thunderers. They are much MUCH more defensive than the arks

I don't think this was an ideal KO list - we'll be looking to add to our KO collection in the future to expand what we can run!
