I still remember my time when I switched to ktm when it launched in India .I got a 200 and my friend got 390 ,I was so much impressed with ktm back in the days .I sold it after 5 years got a new car so did my friend but I still reminisce our past college days and rides .The sound may change but the power is still unbeatable I guess .

I have a bs6 390 duke and I thought that was mind boggling until I got to ride the first generation bs3 390. It feels like that bike has twice the power of the bs6 🙃

Due to stricter emission norms buddy 43.5hp of bs6 duke 390 is equivalent to 38-39 hp of bs3 duke 390

Faisal Khan is the only one who has made this observation that vibes will kill all the fun you ever wanted to have on this 390 👌 awesome this 2022, although the rides comfortable it's not helping

I don't know what is the point of a comfortable sports bikes. There is a Duke with a harder seat and stiffer suspension but they chose to upgrade the seating of the RC and giving it raised clip on bars and stuff. I actually appreciated the RC because it took itself so seriously, like the R!5.

Exactly this RC390 doesn't make sense. If I wanted a comfortable sport bike then would have gone for either Ninja or R3. KTM had a character which they ruined.

There is a reason why the bmw s1000rr has a cult following....it's not just because of the performance but also because it was the most comfortable liter class motorcycle.... So yeah there is a point in comfortable sport bikes.....

@@nishantvismil3207 yes there are little bit vibrations becoz of shorter gear ratios and above 6000-7000 rpm U'll not feel at all but that gives it a character . It will not bother u much that I can gurantee

What I think the bike is trying to achieve: a bike which can be ridden on road and enthusiasts can take it to track with loads of electronics..a good bike it'll be in the age where 150-200cc reputed bikes cost more than 2 lakhs..

That's what I don't like.. I used to like ktm because they made no compromises, it was either a street bike (duke) or a track bike (rc) There was no in between. Now I'm scared that they'll launch a fully faired duke in future and call it RC. Something like Suzuki does.

One more reason it wont perform at its best, is because you're riding at low fuel. I have a 2017 Duke 390 as well. It rides rough and a bit sluggish at low fuel levels. And I know that BS6 bikes have become slower, but its still faster than its competitors.

no but the previous RC was jst raw n beastly this one is really mellowed down, my cousin has older RC n i recently test rode the new one (not with low fuel) and even I was dissapointed.

@@ashwinkalbande6219 I have the new rc, participated in a drag with old rc, and it was actually behind.. new rc is quicker and only in a long stretch of road where u can go upwards of 170 kmph, the old rc overtakes.. The top speed I achieved was 174 kmph and it reaches that speed comfortably before hitting the limiter... even vibes are well contained at those speeds.. my friend's bs 4 rc 390 goes till 179 kmph but in real world conditions the new one is smoother and quicker and has better in gear acceleration also..

Ninja 300 is really overpriced for what it offers. I agree engine is awesome. But rest, brakes, features and hardware is missing
