I think the book tree would be awesome with tea or coffee stained music sheet pages. I would also ink the edges of the sheets to give it more definition. Hopefully next year I'll be in a better living situation and on my own because I would love to make the version that I see in my head. TFS, be 🙏🏼 blessed and stay 😷 safe.

Lisa the reason you're not thrilled about the wire tree is pretty simple: The texture of the vertical foundation wires on the inspo' piece is thin and stiff. You could have found the right wire at Home Depot for less than you paid at $ Tree. The rest of it would then come together nicely. Great process and I do like using the waxed beading thread.

Lisa, I have a game changing tip for you when you need to line up vinyl, place the transfer vinyl with your image on a piece of parchment paper with a small amount just right above the parchment paper. Then hold that sticky part up while you line up your image on your project, then lock down the top sticky part, then lift the transfer tape, pull our the parchment paper and smooth down your image. I hope that I was able to make sense, good luck.

I love Rebecca’s book page wreath but I love your Christmas tree one. I’ve had this large sign on my list to do as well but just run out of time every year.. After watching your frustration I think I’d be better off buying one already made. I don’t have the patience to do it… lol 😂 . I love yours on the black background. Thanks for the printables! For the tree with the rings you probably could have used a tomato cage painted black. I do like yours though!

Hi Lisa. Recently seen quite a few complaints about trying to use DT product for transfer tape. Some are using clear packaging tape. Looks like it works a heck of alot better.

Whitney from Whiskey and Whit always talks about how much she likes expressions transfer tape because it doesn't peel off paint. I'm terrified of DT transfer tape now lol!!! It still turned out gorgeous! I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to try that on my cricut or not since I'm new to it lol

A little early to know how the first project turns out but I like where your headed. I can always delete this comment if I choose to but I have a feeling I won't. So if your reading this, BRAVO. 👏 Edit: I LOVED the tree so very much. I cannot wait to make one myself. The second project had been on my bucket list as well. I picked up the cutest mouse this year that will stage perfectly with it. Do you happen to remember the fo t you used? Btw I always use the clear contact paper as transfer tape. I think so bought mine at Wal-Mart though. I don't know if that will make a difference? I also have never done a Cricut project on paper. Wood and canvas are my jam! I always paint as well. I like the way it looks and they seem better for me. I do think I will go with the vinyl for this project as you did however. So was the tape too tacky? Would you recommend pressing it on to lint first more than usual? I've never had to do that before working with the materials I use.

I loved the book tree, but would stain the pages if I was to recreate. I wish I had a cricket to make the BIG night before Christmas sign, but I have everting I need for a 11 x 20. I didn’t like the last one with the Moo frames, but you did a good job. I didn’t care for the inspiration piece to be gone with, to me it looks like an unfinished project. Speaking of “projects”, I’d never heard anyone pronounce the word Project and Process, the way she did in the video. As if she was saying Produce and not Prada, if that makes sense. It melts throwing me off 🤣

Lisa……can you help me?? First, Thank you for the Twas the night before Christmas printable!!! But HOW do I size it for the DT foam??? And once sized and downloaded/uploaded to design space (or visa versa)…..I’ve yet to print something this large. How to I do it? Is it ALL horizontal and in several pieces or is there a way to flip is vertically and print (perhaps in pieces)?? I’d appreciate ANY and all help!!! I give you major credit for your tree & it does look like the inspiration, but it’s personally not my style. I’d glue or zip tie greenery all around it!! OHHHHH….and I ordered some vintage sheet music (my preference) for the first tree!!! SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! It’ll go with my Beyers Carolers! XOXOX 😘

Not a fan of the last DIY....I think the wide leg make it look very off with the thin wraps. The legs should've been more narrow.

You don't cut books...you can donate it but never cut books you never know who can be enrich by the wisdom of that book...
