A great tip for the brown pieces, crochet less of the strand in. Also, use the same texture as the hair in the bun. Finally, use the invisible knot method when crocheting the hair loop. Much more elegant without the brown pieces

I feel like you were trying to create something “new/different” and I get that….it just went left! It’s too much going on it actually looks tacky….I enjoy the other styles you create but this one is a no go for me but I hope she enjoys it

Great technique but kinky hair is good for twists instead of the normal braids. You don't have to add the extra hair at the end. Just use the small curl rollers and dip it in hot water and it will give you the same effect

And, what are some commonsense recommendations to prevent reoccurring issues using your "crochet" techniques? It appears although you've explained that you're extremely 'gentle' with the installation, visually there still appears to be a great deal of stress/pressure applied, especially at the nape. Wouldn't placing the hair in a bun, create additional tension to the perimeter (troubled) hairlines?! Finally, what are the daily, weekly or monthly maintenance care utilizing this particular style? Overall, the final presentation was lovely... the Model's smile towards the end of the clip definitely warranted the wait❣️🥰❤️ PS: I didn't notice the brand of synthetic hair noted in the description box, nor denoted in the demonstration. Thanks again for sharing your gifts!

This type of braid is not new, it is used alot in the Caribbean. Where I live we call them Congo plaits, done with or without any type of added hair.

To many different textures unless this was leftover hair and you just wanted to use it.
