imagine if ash can use her ult at any % of the ult charge, the higher % the longer the distance, i think that'd be a really powerful rework imo (but ofc it should have a limit like you can only use the ult at above 20%) wdythink

@@samu8546 that could be an interesting addition and make it like almost a wraith tactical as an ultimate. Only thing is as it is it feels lackluster compared to the other options. You have to be waaaaay too precise to be able to be active with it

Just give her swordcore ultimate from the final fantasy event and make her tactical her portal but reduce it to 50m and give it a 30 second cooldown

If she could pull out her sword out and deflect bullets as her ultimate and her tactical just be the ultimate but 35 second phase rip that would be so clean

No she is just bad. It’s not a matter of her kit not being used well even when her kit is used to its best potential a average player will destroy her if they use a meta character

When half the pros who play her acknowledge she’s bad and still play her for fun is it because they can’t use her or mechanically the character is bad. Ash mechanically is a bad character in the current state of the game.

I agree with this. I've been an ash main since she came out and ever since her tac buffs, her passive is the most unreliable part of her kit. I actually feel like I make an impact with her tac and ult, but never her passive

I'd say all her passive needs is to have the animation sped up significantly and remove the notification that you're scanned by ash. Tact doesn't need any major buffs any more it just needs to work in close range. I do like the idea of live ping but it needs to be done carefully.

honestly! i mean the snares are okay but she’s pretty much a skirmisher already. i feel we’d have way too many skirmishers that way though. it would be nice if her passive was reworked

I like it, give her a nerfed version of the buster sword ult as her ult 👍🏼 I would miss her snare, but I miss Rev's moveset as well so oh well 😔 I definitely think you could make it so the legends have different movesets they can choose from. I've been saying it for a while. If you can give different abilities based on leveling up then you can just give different movesets as well. The readability is already kind of gone with the upgraded abilities. So may as well lean into it.

@@ashura_VFX yeah but vantage is a recon legend and has a movement tac. I agree partly that characters should fit their class and so movement abilities should be attributed to the skirmisher class, but not exclusively. Ash with this dash ability can get in your face and deal damage that way, it will be used as such and less of a movement tool since it will likely only go 20m or so (not able to go through walls - this is alters whole thing). I do think having lots of movement abilities in the game is weird but if that is what the players like then so be it. Plus, her ultimate is very similar to a lot of character abilities which is why giving her a more unique and useful ability tied to the assault playstyle (in combination of using the sword - whether this be with or without added movement with the sword) and would make for a really fun character to play for casual / ranked play but likely not for ALGS

It doesn't need in honestly, after all the tweaks to it it's actually way more fun and reliable to use. For the sake of my sanity, kind stranger please stop adding the e to Ash's name

Ash main here and I'll say that you are 100% on point. I don't want her reworked. I just want her snare to be more restrictive where if the move they get damaged or put a Silence on it. YES put a silence on the snare!!! I freaking love her passives. Since the last update, her ult works SO much better. I looked at a roof, I aimed at a roof, I landed on a roof. Perfect.

An Ash rework wouldn't just be about power, and they clearly addressed why buffing is simply a hard thing to do. The strength of a buff isn't just based on individual stats on abilities, but also how it's used in actuality and how often it's used in games and to what extents in conjunction with whatever other legends against whatever other legends. It's not as simple as just offering perks to make her snare more restrictive or give it a silence to restrict abilities by the caught enemies. "The wrong push and she could end up being as oppressive as super-stun Seer was." One thing they mentioned is that Valkyrie kinda just did some of what Ash does in a more useful way with further bonuses. A rework would help define her in a different way and could make her more unique. "And once Valk arrived with superior macro-rotation and beacon scan, there was no real place for her on the squad." She's also not really as popular as you think. She has a 3.7% pick rate at best in Silver and it drops to as low as 0.6% in Master/Predator and an average of 3.3%. With as many players as there are, obviously it's still a lot, but still low and shows that she's not really a competitive legend. She's fine casually and obviously doesn't need to be a top dog, but having metas suck and bringing this legend out of the dumpster she was found in would help break the meta by creating options. Plus, anyone who actually cares about Ash as a character would definitely appreciate a rework to bring her more in-line with her Titanfall 2 self ability-wise. Even if we can't get wall-running and double-jumping on her, making her more akin to how she might have been as a pilot in Titanfall 2 or taking more inspiration from her Ronin would be amazing. So it's kind of ironic you talk about Ash mains not wanting a rework when there are definitely Ash mains who want it, or even potential Ash mains who don't play her because the abilities aren't what they wanted from Ash after playing Titanfall 2.

Firstly, wall of text. Secondly, snare doesn't need a silence what it needs is to disable sprinting while tethered and to work in close range. Her ult targeting is wonkier than your uncle after downing 2 bottles of vodka.

@@DarkSharkDomilian While I'd love for ash to get unrestricted wall running (it wouldn't be as broken as people think) What Ash needs are buffs to make her current kit actually work. Half of her passive rarely has a use, her tactical doesn't work in close range, her ultimate rarely goes where you want it to and her ult feels kinda slow to use.

That's happened to me as well. I don't know how to help, though.
