Ya know Linkara, there are easier ways to get your hands on an Infinity Gauntlet. Dr. Doom sold one to Aunt May at his yard sale for two dollars. Of course that was the zany Mego-Universe from ToyFare magazine, but Doom did imply it's power was nearly unlimited. He also had an Atari 2600 with Combat, as well as Vanilla Ice's head in a jar.

Since the Halloween episodes mention Moarte a lot, I'll mention my scheme to catch up on those: I've been watching the Longbox of the Damned playlists each start of the month, I already finished two of them in full! It's been a great ride so far, even more so since I'm a big Junji Ito fan and there was Gyo and Uzumaki there. What even is this comic. This is the biggest true crime fans (derogatory) convention. Still, the chainsaw short story was pretty fun, and the conclusion was… gruesome as expected. Fun stuff, fun stuff. TOURNAMENT ARC THOUGH! AND MY FAVE!!!! Glad to see the braid again. This sounds like a really believable and nice championship, the type people would actually go for! Be it for the prize or for the fun of it. ALSO FIGHT TIME!!!!!!!!!

Interesting episode, Linkara. I actually had a fan idea about a nightmare on elm street sequel that would involve Freddy's name getting passed around through a creepy pasta or something. Don't know how well it would work but hey who knows. Storyline bit was great and enticing. Linkara's expression when the shadowy dude brings up the infinity gauntlet was hilarious.

Every town has an Elm Street. Also it is sort of assumed that people have to know about him to dream about him etc. Also the idea of him leaving Springwood sort of was introduced in Nightmare 6..

I like how FREDDY KUGER of all fictional sociopaths has to comment on what a messed-up world we're living in when he confronts one of his fans. I know the feeling and I don't even have to be crazy to see it.

So, a tournament arc? Well, this should be interesting though I wonder what sort of battles Linkara will get in? A shoot out with a wolfman mobster? A card game with some hotshot smart ass? A battle of wits with an Australian Green Goblin? A debate with a newbie champion still full of hope? A prank off with a fairy!? A pose off with a stand user? So many possibilities, so little time to list them all!

Idea for the gems in the five stone gauntlet: The biggest one is basically a power source, without it, The others would be much harder too use in tandem. Purple is a gem of life, Allowing for soul theft, mind control, and moving lifeforms, orange is A time gem, no need to elaborate, the White one is the Cosmos Gem, giving the user the ability to shape the universe around them. letting them make things lighter, heavier, letting them summon forth fire and such, and the last one is effectively the gem of power, letting one alter one's self to gain power.

It's a silly background detail but I love the Mimikyu plush back there! Mimikyu's my fave pokemon so I just get excited seeing it

Wait wait wait wait wait... Freddy's power actually DEPENDS on people knowing about him, because the more they know, the more afraid of him they'll be, and thus the stronger he becomes. Sending information about Freddy to 100 different email addresses, would actually make Freddy MORE powerful. And why would people decide to NOT live in town anymore, after hearing about a Serial Killer who had been dead for about 20 years at this point? Knowing about Freddy's life as a killer, is a LOT different from actually believing that he's supernaturally killing from beyond the grave. So seriously; this plan to pacify Freddy is literally backfiring from every single angle. Also...seriously Linkara...You're NOT going to point out the fact that Freddy is apparently viewing people's Dreams AND the Real-World...Via a Viewing Globe?! What the Hell? Does Freddy think he's Zordon now?! Freddy: "Too much Pink-Energy is Dangerous, Bitch!!!"

Oh man, Critters! Those four movies were my childhood! Though I suppose a child shouldn't have been watching 'em... Is it a bit weird that in this comic, Freddy doesn't want everyone finding out about him, while in other comics and films spreading fear of himself is his whole shtick? Actually in regards to your "freddy going online" joke an interesting idea that popped into my head is a nightmare movie in the future where people use vr style pods. Because while in the vr pod there body is essentially asleep freddy finds out that he is able to invade this reality and warp it to his will. Perhaps even preventing people from escaping from the vr which is something they've been used to so people have gotten reckless knowing they can't die while in vr? Though tbh I'm fairly certain something like this has been done before just not with freddy.

I'm surprise that Chuck Dixon wrote the Nightmare on Elm Street books for Wildstorm because I really love his Batman run and his a writer that a lot people don't give credit for a lot things that he wrote for Bat family like giving Nightwing a series that explores more about his city that he works on (which is worst than Gotham), having Tim Drake as a big part in the Bat family, and co creating series and characters like The Birds of Prey and Bane. Sure his not in my top 5 Batman writers but definitely top 10.

Yay, a rare good comic! Although that first Texas Chainsaw Massacre story is weird. Amusing, but weird. (Chainsaw salesmen? Really? Then again, never been to Texas, soooo. . .) This Contest arc has already heated up, though! Cool to see that Jaeris has been through one, and it's nice to get some confirmation on the rules. Don't know about anyone else; but I would totally buy a "Welcome to Prime Time BITCH!" shirt! And Linkara; that Freddy Online thing actually happened in an "A Nightmare on Elm Street" Novel back around 07-08. I think the book went the Hellraiser: Hellworld or Stay Alive route and used the Springwood killings and beyond as the basis for some kind of futuristic game, that or one of the game testers was having nightmares of Freddy and he used their connection to the system to infect everyone else connected to it. Also; wait, guy who made him play a board game? Board James, or some other dimension version of him maybe?

This is just a guess, and I hope Lewis doesn’t change the eventual script because of fear of back lash: I kind of hope that Linkara doesn’t win the contest. If anyone here has seen the Tournament Saga of the original Dragon Ball (the first one), I think that’s a good example of what I hope happens: That a gaggle of new characters, good and bad, are introduced. Linkara is put to the test in each match, the odds stacked against him like never before, until the semifinals, when his own character flaws cause him to lose. Maybe he stews for a while, a combination of losing, of failing on his mission, and from the hit to his pride, but realizes that the others fighting are not bad people. When all is said and done, Linkara shakes hands with the victor, congratulating them, and ends up in a better place, with knowledge that he has new friends and allies across the multiverse.
