I would love to work with the brand, but I don't expect that to happen. I'm happy to buy the products. They're my favorites. Even if I didn't have a KZfaq channel, I would buy all the makeup anyway. It's the sort of makeup I want to wear. It's so craveable and amazing quality. Thanks for watching today. I hope the comparison is helpful. I know I'm not the only one who loves LE red lipsticks. I'm glad to have them all, but I'm not sure everyone "needs" to have each one.

Velvet Bloom is my favourite Lisa lipstick! I also wear Velvet Pompadour, Velvet Rain and Velvet Ribbon. Looking at your swatches it makes sense why I prefer those 4 🤣 I think Duchess would be a nice addition.

Thanks for the review. Would be interested to see how it compares to some of the pinks…skyscraper rose, rainbow spill, etc. being that it was close to pompadore and rain. Looks on the cool side though, which is what I needed to know. Thanks for the help.

Ooh, I didn't think about comparing it to more of the pinks. I'll have to do that. I'm going to plan to "borrow" my daughter's arm for more swatches. We wear the same shade in foundation, but it's so much easier to swatch on someone else, and then take photos of someone else's arm. It's a struggle to do it on myself. I don't have all the pinks, but I do have Skyscraper Rose, and many others. Give me some time, and I'll post images to my community page. Thanks for watching today.

@@dianaabildayeva6687 it's pretty similar to Enchantment. I haven't swatched it against Skyscraper Rose, but I'm planning on it. I'm borrowing my daughter's arm tomorrow for swatches. (We wear the same shade of foundation) it's easier to take photos of someone else's arm. 😄

My favorite Lisa shade?... Hmmm, Strawberry Shock - no wait... Sunday Matinee. No... Rose official. No... Velvet Morning... To sum up: no, I don't have a favourite. I love so many of them. I can only tell you which shades I never use: myth (too dark, I'm quite fair) and fawn (too cool). 😊 Your comparison swatches are superb!

Ooh, what a great list of favorite shades. They're all beautiful, and such stunning shades. I don't reach for Myth much either. Like you said, too dark. Midnight is one I almost never use. Especially alone. 🤷♀️ If I whitened my teeth more, I'd wear Dragon and Cinnabar more. Although the shades look good on my complexion, they don't do any favors for my teeth. It's something I forget to do until I want to wear one. 🤦♀️

I'm glad. I wish they were a bit larger, but with so many reds, it's hard. I'm going to have my daughter help me swatch these again on her arm. (we wear the same shade of foundation) That way, I can use more "real estate" and make larger swatches that can be blended out. I think when the shades are blotted or blended you see more of the difference in undertone. I am feeling a bit better. Lipstick always help. It's more fun to think about makeup than my brain. I do have some more test scheduled, but I'll worry about that later. Thanks so much for asking.

I bought New Wave as a test because I thought that it was the shade that I was least likely to be able to wear successfully, but it turned out looking nice on me! I'll be darned. So now i feel like I likely can wear any of LE's lipsticks - she is a magician. I have Enchantment but none of the other Velvets or Insanely Saturated ones that you swatched, and had been thinking a little about Pompadour, and so decided to go for Bloom. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be good for me! Thanks for all of your conscientious swatching - I have gone back a couple of times to your videos to rewatch when making decisions. ❤

I was surprised that New Wave looks good on me too. It's not a shade I would've purchased based solely on how it looks in the bullet. It looks purple! I'm always surprised on how lovely all the lipstick shades that Lisa creates looks on me. I'm fortunate because I have a neutral undertone, and can wear most shades. I hope you like Bloom. It's a lovely red that's just vibrant enough, and can be easily thinned out for a less punchy look. I've been wearing it both ways this week. I'm currently loving a lighter lip look, so I've been sheering it out most days. I did wear it full force yesterday, and got so many compliments. Thanks so much for making the time to watch these LE videos. I try and be comprehensive so it can be a reference if you're trying to decide which one to get.

I always love taking about lipstick, especially Lisa's. It's a joy. I LOVE Enchantment. It's the red I never knew I needed. Velvet Ribbon is my most used, and I normally prefer a bright, bold red. When I purchased Enchantment, it blew my socks off, and has become an instant favorite. I wonder if the same will happen with Bloom. 🤷♀️ I'm glad I have it. Thanks for watching today. 😘

I'm so glad you found this helpful. I'm not much of a liquid lipstick person, but this formula is very comfortable. If I'm ever going to reach for a liquid lipstick, this is the one for me. I don't think I wear this type of product enough to merit getting anymore shades, but I like the 2 I have, and I use them regularly.

I love your swatches and many of your videos have made me decide on a LE lip color, but this time, I bought it as SOON as it was available. I have found my color! Bloom just brings my face to life! I now have 10 shades (2 LLucent and 8 velvets) and you have helped me so much! I thought bloom looked really great on you - but the fact you didn’t end with it, it is apparent this isn’t your favorite ;). I have now gone back to pick up some of her lip liners (what I haven’t tried yet) and excited to try them. Thanks for sharing your live of Lisa Eldridge!

It's not that Bloom isn't a favorite, but I wasn't wearing the right clothes and makeup to wear it for the rest of the day. I have been wearing it quite a lot recently. I have been living in sheer, glossy formulas for the past several weeks, and after getting this box, I've been living in these two shades. I really love Velvet Bloom. I feel like Lisa creates such lovely shades. They're very nuanced and aren't shades I've seen everywhere else. I love that about her shades. They're quite individual to her line. I'm glad that my videos have helped you find your 10 LE lipsticks. That's always my goal; to help people decide which ones are for you. Ooh, we're the same age. 😊 Bloom looks beautiful on you! My favorite Lisa lipstick is Painterly. I recently purchased Sorcery and when applied lightly, I think it looks like a Velvet version of Painterly.

I purchased this also as soon as it was released, I love this shade, I always use lip liners because I stink at applying lipstick w/o a lip liner. All the shades you performed are gorgeous, xo

Thanks so much. The older I get, the more I need a liner to help me find my vermillion border. That's OK. I'm really enjoying this new shade, and I like how different it is to the other reds. Still punchy, but I love the cranberry lean it has. Such a stunning lipstick.

I love this shade on you! And I love it on myself too! I picked up Skyscraper Rose last year but it didn't work for me - too bright. This one is perfection! But it doesn't beat up my holy grail Velvet Ribbon, which I use sparingly recently to have it last for longer😁😁😁. I bought Path MCGrath Elson, but Lisa's formula is much better.

Yes, I prefer Lisa's formula to Pat McGrath's. It's so comfortable. If I'm paying luxury prices, I'm expecting perfection. Pat has some lovely colors, but I'm not paying for that formula. I really like this color on me, it's a lovely pink leaning red. It looks good sheered out or worn boldly. I love it. Thanks for watching today, enjoy the new lipstick!

You look so good in both lipsticks! Thank you for the comparisons. I'm actually going to skip this one (gasp!) because I have so many of hers in your comparison that are close. Plus, I do prefer the Luxuriously Lucent line. I have also spent too much on Armani lipstick recently. But if I had money to blow I'd have that new one for certain. I know you like your nudes but I think you look best in reds and vibrant lipsticks, or the LE ones that have that subtle vibrancy like Sunday Matinee.

I LOVE a vibrant lipstick, and this new Velvet Bloom is divine! I switched to Sunday Matinee just because it was too much with the heavy eye makeup and I looked like I was trying too hard. Since filming this video, I have been wearing it so much, but with a more minimal makeup look. I'm glad that I have this new lipstick, but I knew that there would be people like you where it wasn't a "necessary" purchase. It's quite similar to other shades, and I'm sure if you have Duchess, and Pompadour, you could get very close to this color. Even Enchantment is so close. I love Lisa's formula, and I'm glad to have it as a new option for when I'm in a red mood. Thanks so much for watching today!

It's so funny, before you showed the comparison swatches, my first reaction was, this really looks like it's in the same family as her most recent lipstick release and really reminds me of Pompadour especially. I think Lisa has been in a particular color mood, creatively speaking :) Have you picked up any of her liquid lipstick release? I got Rain and Ribbon (Rain looks like a lovely neutral MLBB color on me and I really wanted to try Ribbon as I don't have the original one) and I'm quite enjoying them. The formula is really good as far as liquid lipsticks go!

Yes, but mine are still in transit. Somehow living in the sticks slows deliveries down to a crawl. 😥 I'm not sure when they'll arrive, but I ordered Ribbon and Muse. I think you're right with the comparison of Bloom to other similar colors. I'm very curious to see what this fall brings.

@@BlingyBea I'm sorry it has fallout. I always use it with a primer. I skip primer on most other shadows, but I realized that I need it for the LE powder formula. It makes a difference in how long the formula stays on my lid without creasing.

Hi, I’m new here! Just got Bloom and it has totally rekindled my love for lipstick after a long hiatus. Got out my other Velvets - Ribbon, Jazz, Myth are my faves, I have a type 😂 - and dang did I ever need a lip liner. I don’t typically use them, but maybe my preferences have changed, my lips have definitely changed, now at 45! In your opinion, do you think the liner in Ribbon would work for Velvet Bloom, or does it warrant the matching liner since it’s so much more pink? P.S. I *love* Bloom on you. Have been bingeing your Lisa playlist, I love your videos!

Here's where I tell you I don't have more than one liner in red from Lisa. It's Ribbon, and I use it all the time. It's the liner I used to clean up the edge in this video. Yes, it works well with Bloom. I have a warmer liner from Charlotte Tilbury that I use when I'm reaching for one of Lisa's warm reds, and a deeper liner from essence (drugstore) for all the deep reds. I'd love to have only Lisa's liners, but at $27 each, I think about which shades will be most versatile, and pick up those. I'll ALWAYS repurchase ribbon. It's the perfect red liner, but I do have many others that I use. Thanks so much for watching, and enjoy that new lipstick!

It doesn't make my teeth look yellower. I wouldn't say it make my teeth look whiter though. I haven't whitened my teeth in over a year, and I can't wear Velvet Dragon or Velvet Cinnabar right now. It's just too much. 😬
