the result is still bad.. some time ago there was a tts repo on git, was really easy to use and results were indistinguishable from real.. then it was dropped.. then someone else picked it up and since then results were bad.. even worse than yours.. i get the idea that anything that gets indistinguishable from real gets stopped and a worse version takes its place

Hi, everything is evolving so quickly that what was top-tier yesterday is already a level lower today. Some very good projects disappear from GitHub because they become commercialized. Anyway, it's worth getting to know every open-source tool because they are great and created by a community of AI enthusiasts. 😊

Hi, this is just an example. I created this voice in a few minutes to demonstrate these free tools. If you put in more effort and spend more time recording a voice that lasts about 5 minutes and find a better model, the result will be much better.

If you want very good voices then you need to choose a model that offers voice training and perform several iterations until you get what you're looking for. For this you'll need a really strong GPU that costs several thousand dollars.
