@@TheDrawfeeBraincell that’s def true 10000% but even just the reason behind finding the same woman attractive. my best example is to compare the way Stjepan Šejić or Jonboy Meyers draw women to someone like Will Jack. all 3 are incredible artists whose work i love but me and some sapphics i know tend to find the formers’ portrayals more personally attractive. (not that i speak for all lesbians tho obvs it’s just a trend i’ve noticed)

I like this kinda peek behind the curtain of seeing them actually, physically drawing cuz I hunch over my tablet flat on my desk and the few times I tried propping the tablet up and drawing with my whole arm, my shoulder got so tired. Real though, this is me with my art materials. I have to bring a bunch of materials for an event this coming weekend and so far it has been a 4-day-long ordeal to decide what colors to bring for each material (alcohol markers and two sets of color pencils) plus I still have to figure out how to pack them then set them up on the event itself If the deadline wasn't coming up I would gladly spend two weeks or more just figuring this out, and I feel like this would be me if I had to arrange so many displays on multiple shelves, and I'll probably change something every day afterwards anyway 🤪

If you want advice: You need an upholstered stool in back to raise up Karina, you need a warm light source from the camera right corner, focused on Julia and the artist, to balance the sun from the camera left corner. And you need something soft on the walls to deaden that echo (anime body pillows?). But you don't really need my advice, it's already everything I've ever wanted😊

"MacArthur Park" is by Richard Harris. Weird Al parodied it as "Jurassic Park." The slightly odd imagery of the original's chorus uses a waterlogged cake as a metaphor for a once beautiful, but now collapsed romantic relationship: "MacArthur Park is melting in the dark All the sweet green icing flowing down Someone left the cake out in the rain I don't think that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to bake it And I'll never have that recipe again, oh no" Jacob has definitely heard one, if not both of those. MacArthur Park is also a real place out in California and is (or at least was at one point) infamous for hard drugs.
