This was a really great review! I like how you broke the whole thing into different categories and touch upon said topic. For the way how it's all is presented I thought it was amazing! Don't forget that right/left click keys will fail sooner than later and have you thinking that you're going crazy while trying to ADS in FPS games. Would have been nice to know there is a common issue with the clickers that essentially make you go in and out of Aim Down Sight repeatedly every time you try to hold ADS button. Skip this mouse.

Bought this mouse yesterday, and interestingly the cable that comes with it is no longer braided. Also I read some reviews and they complained about creaky sides, and this has also been fixed, and there's no gap between the sides and the bottom.

It's my current mouse and it's definitely the best one I've had. The downside to me is the lack of storage for the USB, but otherwise I love it. No over the top RGB, it's very light and it's got all the buttons I need. That said, it is expensive and in my case I got it as a gift. But it's a really good piece of hardware in my opinion.

@@mushafzarrar3168 Oh you used AA alkaline that came with it. Nah, these AA batteries has a bad central weight balance for this mouse and it makes the mouse kinda heavy, i used AAA rechargable batteries with it to make it lighter and to get rid from the heavy bottom of the mouse.

Yeah this is a good alternative to the superlight. Definitely heavier but similar functionality.

I've tested G703 and G Pro Wireless, as a semi decent CS:GO player I can say the HERO sensor is amazing and cannot feel any difference to wired. That being said I've played with Zowie EC2-B for 6 years and the shapes are just too off from that. I cannot believe Zowie still has not come out with a wireless option to their mice.

Nice review! I really liked it and I think I'm going to buy this one it looks really good I like that is not sharp like for example the g502 and we'll i actually dont use more than 6 buttons so it's just perfect for me I also like the rgb scrollwheel it makes it look better (to me) soooooo keep the good work and thanks for the review!

@@mrcj1231 I wanted something to my Mamba because I really liked it in a lot of ways, and it delivered. It’s very similar to my Mamba but 20g~ lighter, more nimble and more responsive! So far so good! The G Pro Wireless was just a bit out of price range for a mouse unfortunately.

i have the 903 but i just bought this because i wanted something right handed and i immediately like it more... the sensor feels just as good, the clicks feel a bit different, a little cheaper honestly but just fine. and honestly, i like that its a little heavier. idk about all y'all but i like a mouse with a little heft.

weirdly enough, my g703 has a 25k hero sensor, and it can go up to 25650 dpi, and it has a whole week long battery life, with rgb, and no. i do not have a g pro wireless.

Yeah they put out a software update not long ago that bumped up the sensor from 16k to 25k for a log of their mouses.

@Mr Humor On a Hero 25k version packaging is also noted: up to 35h with default lightning and up to 60h without lighting. Battery life varies based on user.

Personally I prefer the g502 a lot more but it is way more expensive so that’s a hard comparison to make.

Really it depend of the type of game you play. G502 is heavier but has a lot of button and function. G703 is an ergonomic G pro wireless so if you are an FPS player go with the 703 if you are a jack of all trade go for the 502 especially if you use your gaming mouse for working or editing,the infinite scroll wheel is a must have for this.If you are focused on aim and FPS performance the G703 is better,it's still the choice of many fps pro and nowaday it is really cheap (easy to get one for 65bucks).

Yes! You can plug the usb receiver directly into your usb port. The “lightspeed receiver” is really no different than any other usb receiver as far as size and looks.

So I just gave this mouse to my wife and she plugged the small adapter right into her gaming laptop rather than the lightspeed adapter (she thinks the cable and adapter look tacky xD) will this meaningfully impact the response of the mouse? Or should I tell her to suck it up and plug into the lightspeed adapter lol.

The mouse is the best one out there. It's just 1 big problem, the sidegrips in rubber and looks greasy even if you wacth your hands before you use it. Logitech must fix this. Especially at this price!

I wish they'd make a version with standard plastic on the sides. The rubber on the g403 gets very disgusting and sweaty very fast, a true shame since the shape is great imo

The g603’s shape is very very close to the g703 you might want to try that mouse out as it is hard plastic all around.

You have to update the software on your mouse via the ghub app. That will unlock 25k sensor.

Yes logitech came out with a software update to push the sensor up to 25k after I recorded this videos.
