I miss the way the show used to be in the first few seasons! When it turned to all track races I quit watching! I love street racing but in real street cars not track cars that have been tuned down to hold the street! Years ago I used to race my 66ss Chevelle on Almonaster it was all street cars and straight motor ran other straight motor cars and nitrous cars ran against nitrous cars and so on! Now the cars are so much faster and cost a lot more to build and it's hard to keep up with some of the guys out there especially if you are not rich or don't have a great paying job! I'm building my Chevelle one last time for my son who just hit 20 years old and hopefully he has the same fun I used to have! Since you guys are going back to street machines I'll definitely be checking out the season! Peace out Dave!

Have you ever thought about running twin torque storm prochargers I think Steve Morrison did a combo like that once you would have two power adder that or you could do a procharger combo with nitrous either way I know that Monte Carlo will be very fast. I hope you can get your hot rod finished before the season ends that way you can have all the bugs worked out of it and then you'll know what upgrades you need to keep up with everyone else next season If you don't have the monte carlo finished before the season ends you may fall behind next season hope that won't be the case. I hope you get out there and Crush everybody that pulls up beside you....by the way didn't you used to race a monte carlo way before the street outlaws show?? I know your building a kickazz monte carlo an all. I honestly can't wait to see the S10, on the 405 show. That thing can prolly do alot more than just hold its own against the other cars, little S10 is fast AF, for a street car!!!

Glad to see your building a monte carlo I have a 88 SS that I'm building with a big block just going to be a real street car daily driver it's a 427 60+ over so a 439 with AFR heads a Howard's roller set up it only going to make about 525 hp. But it will be fun would like it to run somewhere around 10.60sto 10.80s I am keeping the A/C power steering and brakes.these cars were so under powered from GM it's sad. Hey Dave I think that color on that truck was Magma Red. I only know that because I looked at a bunch of black cherry type colors when trying to find a color to paint my K5 Blazer. I didn’t find a single one I liked so mixed my own.😂

Damn, We have all heard of the Dillard Tax and know that Proline has performed some miracles getting parts and or fixing your FUBARed junk in incredibly short periods of time but Thompson Motorsports has one up Proline and then some with their Private Plane customer support service which means if you break your junk on that late night last qualifying pass Thompson can conceivably have you parts or an engine to make first round the next day. The mystery question is just what is the Thompson Motorsports Tax? Wait what am I saying who cares😅😂🤣😁

That sounds cool. Real street race cars. Not sub 4 sec 1/8 mile drag cars. It would be great to some old school street racing. Maybe make some rules like everybody has to have 12 in wide radial street drag tires. Car has to weigh 2800 lbs or something like that.
