I love Justine’s reviews. They always get me pumped up and excited as I’m doing my preorders! I came across the old channel with reviews from 2012 with the iPhone 5! Even back then her reviewing skills were awesome. Great channel!

If the nano texture is the same as on the Pro displays, it requires a certain type of cleaning wipe or you risk damage. This would be a deal breaker for me on a touch screen device. Save a couple hundred dollars and buy a non-glare screen protector instead.

I'm an Apple girly through and through, but I can't help but notice all the inspo they took from the Samsung tabs with this release, from the camera placement, pen button and gestures, and even IDENTICAL colours! I can't wait to get my hands on the lavender 13" Air ❤

The nano texture glass on the iPad Pro does seem to affect the image quality, hopefully it's just an optical illusion.

Yeah, rather than the nano texture glass on the pro display. You TOUCH the screen on the ipad, its going to be sticky and scratches like most paperlike screen protectors. But atleast the normal glass option is cheaper and better!. Atleast theres an option for buyers

Yes it does negatively affect image quality though it’s probably an acceptable trade off for people who are gonna use this on bright outdoor environments

Nano is game changer for those who use or work a lot with iPad outdoor, under the bright sunshine. I read with my iPad a lot on the beach (Australian here), nano texture will be much needed.

2:14 I’ve been digging through videos for hours to find a review about the nano screen just like this THANK YOU for going into detail on what seems to be the best and most underrated (and f’ng expensive) new features. Between the tandem OLED and the nano screen I’m really hoping I can use this on the beach 👏

Thoughts on the nano-texture in terms of durability and everyday use? I ordered my iPad Pro with nano-texture, and then canceled it and ordered the regular glass. I almost exclusively use my iPad indoors and for watching media, email/microsoft office, and PDFs. I don’t want to lose the true experience of the tandem OLED display. … am I missing out by not going nano-texture?? Great video as always!

agreed with returning into the apple sphere with receiving the new iPad mini for Christmas as a present. my first return to tablet sphere in 4 years now. you think they would allow backwards compatibility with the latest stylus/pencil towards the recent gens that are out as well. like most companies do.

we hadn't really saw the insides just yet so I can be wrong, but here's my theory - The main reason why the cameras stayed on the short side for so long is because the long side was occupied by the wireless charger for the pencil. If they now managed to fit everything on the long side then >something< about the charging module must have changed. And probably this something is why the new pencil only works with redesigned internals. Yeah they could try to make it work, but then it's more effort and less money.

Have you not heard of the term gatekeeping? IPad Air still getting 60hz screen in 2024. Lower end configuration IPad Pro M4 such as 256gb and 512gb get less RAM and no non-etch screen option, while the higher configuration does. Talk about greed with this company.

Hello!!! Question, Can we still put screen protectors like the paperlike on the nano glass ipad pros? I'm confused, heard that it comes with a micro fiber cleaning wipe of some sort? Can you please clarify it? I'm a heavy goodnotes/notetaker ++ sometimes I draw soooo I want to know if I can slap a good old paperlike screen protector on mine if ever I get one or just stick with the standard screen. I rly hate glaring since I write a lot so I want the nano screen but i'm confused about its sensitivity

The nano textured one is like paperlike protector. The blacks are a bit washed and deeper black remain on standard one.

I think the Black one will be the most popular model as it will blend in more with the inky black Oled screen compared to the Grey one and in my opinion looks better.

After having a 2018 iPad Pro , I decided to get the 13" air this time. Only because my pro died from bending over the years, and seeing how thin the new pro is, I wasn't willing to risk it. I'm hoping the display quality isn't disappointing on the Air after using the pro for 6 years. I'm not sure if the refresh rate or brightness will make a big difference for what I use it for. Shame, because I was really looking forward to OLED

I use my iPad to watch Netflix and sometimes do some digital art or journaling. I don’t even know which version I have 😂I know it’s one of the Air models but I really don’t use it often enough any more to even consider an upgrade

The pro looks great, good specs too and good updates on the software. The nano texture finish blurs text noticeably but i'll probably option it for the ipad as well. Did you hear anything about new studio displays? Thank you for sharing.

If next month's ipadOS 18 allows the new ipad pros to turn into a macbook when docked with the new ipad pro magic keyboard as an option, I'll upgrade from my 16" intel i9 macbook pro. Even if it is only available for higher models like the 1TB & 2TB storage it will still be worth it. I assume you'd need a higher storage to enable dual OS boot.

I WANT it, but Don’t need it. What to do 😂. I’m still in iPad pro before M series chip, but the limited OS already works well enough, so more power isn’t needed, but LOOK at this screen, thinness, and shininess.

I tried to avoid this minimal upgrade from my M2 iPad Pro 13” with 1TB. Maxed out the newer one in Space Black and glad to see those FCP updates as well! The iPad has replaced my MacBook Pro and honestly I’m not looking back at this point. 👀
