I know you employ people and buy in parts to do all the work yourself where ever possible and some times you have no choice but to send out some things to be fixed, but, i can only imagine that if you sent out everything to be fixed the costs and your over heads would be through the roof. Another great video and the young lads yet again getting stuck in doing their thing, must make an old man happy seeing his boys being so adaptable and hands on, they are a credit to you

That husky manure spreader brought back some old memories for me I worked for Michigan glass lined storage for 20 some years in there slurry store system put alot of those injectors together husky and AOS harvestore was getting to be a his deal with all the new run off restrictions boy I tell ya some of the farmers would inject when corn got a couple feet tall and when we would get some rain that corn would leap over night become the darkest green you could almost watch the corn grow Michigan glass was a great company to work for I learned so much became a really good welder fabricator good old days

How big is big enough? We had an 8 shank injector, it was too heavy and made for side loading almost impossible without folding up. Now both injectors that we have in both spreaders are the same size
@jimc47314 жыл бұрын
@@FarmingFixingFabricating I probably jumped the gun and misspoke. I think a case of apples and oranges here. I didn't pay attention and it seems you will be putting yours on the back of the tanker. I was thinking a drag hose type. I should have known better as I don't believe your fields would lend to that style injection. JIM

How many gallons of milk can you inject an acre with that? What are you doing voluntary to reduce milk production? The milk dumping is only going to be a short term solution to a long term down turn. We all need to work to help all farmers and the dairy industry trough this.

madfarmer912 dave are you guys actually dumping milk in the USA ? Not happening here (Ireland ) yet but they are softening us up for it , saying they may not be collecting any milk shortly, it will put a lot of guys out of dairying if that happens for any length of time.
@TheGhostOfLuciasClay4 жыл бұрын
@@nsgkuaov yes. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qa6lpdyfl7K-aWw.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etiio7Ci2tnFfmQ.html Few examples. So far it's mainly been larger farms that have manure pits to dispose of it and their going to be paid for it but that can't last. My wifes cousin ships with a different company and was asked to cut production 15℅ while 3 other farms near him were completely shut off ( but I think that has more to do with a merger that is going on). Farms need to cut production and it's as simple as having the nutritionist instead of balancing for 80 lbs cut it to 60 lbs of production. This is going to be a year long problem. We are going to see how much some care about the industry and others and who only cares about themselves.
