S Cross 2017 Review in Hindi - Ladies & gentlemen, say hello to the facelifted Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 2017. We recently tested the car in the 'city of lakes' Udaipur, and tried to find out the changes it has received. Though the company calls it an 'all-new' version, the new S-Cross 2017 has mainly received cosmetic changes both inside and out. Even the car's engine - 1.3-litre DDiS 200 - has remained unchanged, though it has now received the company's mild-hybrid system SHVS that we have already seen on the Ciaz and Ertiga. And we were a bit disappointed to know that the more powerful 1.6-litre multijet diesel engine has been discontinued owing to the low demand for it. But one thing that surely has become has better is the vehicle's design, it now looks lot more premium - thanks to that all-new and appealing front profile. The alloys too look pretty good. So with all the aforementioned changes, the new Maruti S Cross 2017 feels lot more up-market than before.

Congrats & Thank you ICN, I bought an S-Cross Alpha only after going through your review & am not a least bit disappointed. I had an SX4 Zdi earlier & was so impressed by its performance that upgrading it to S-Cross was not such a big deal. But the credit for doing it sooner goes to you & your channel.

It was a couple of months ago when I had watched one of your bike reviews, and genuinely did not like it at all. And then I watched your Nexon, followed by the Verna and trust me it kind of started growing on me - all thanks to Vikas and your editor. Udaipur ,its among the finest n unique of the cities worldover.The city of lakes with very rich heritage, mountains , palaces n most importantly the city of kind hearted peoples Really one needs to explore this city in his or her life time. If you want a low maintenance car with better styling, the S-Cross is a good option. But if you need more power and better interior, the Creta has an upper hand.

Good and detailed review you have given..On this show.. Plz don’t challenge fiat abt performance of there any engine.. This engine has not tuned by maruti it’s already tuned by fiat as per requirements of maruti wohe ghatiya soch for milege.. Otherwise if u had ever driven any fiat car it’s truly a challenge for every company for its performance. 1.3 engine is giving 93ps and 210nm.. Which comes in linea..Its superb.. And fiat has the ability to built high performance engines which ever it may be ..1.3/1.6/2.0. No other company usually try a another engine option..As they are feared abt its performance,aur sab gadiyo mein wahi ghise pite engine dalke bechte rhte.. Thanks to fiat engineers and not to maruti. For tunning engine.. Suzuki is not even a no1 company in thr home country uptill now.

That's a tough question. Vijendra. While the S-Cross offers you a more spacious and comfortable cabin, the Nexon is an overall better value-for-money car with some class-leading features, powerful engine and a super competitive pricing. P.S. - Thank you for the kind words. :)

Very nice video... why no petrol engine....because of the mindset of Indian car buyer...they need big box with no power....This car is good but the engine capacity does not justify it as a good buy...

Thanks a lot mate, glad you liked the video. And we agree that a bigger engine would have made, but when they had the 1.6L model only a very very few people bought that model. So they decided to discontinue that. Having said that, Maruti Suzuki is working on their own 1.5-litre diesel engine which will power several of their future cars including the S-Cross and Ciaz. Planning a Car under 15L +- 1L!! Need your help!! Planning to buy a car under 15L rs. Got super confused between Ciaz/Verna/City. We need top model Diesel variant. With City I have heard about the not good engine as compared to its petrol variant. Whereas Verna has bit less space and the suspension problem. So Ciaz was the top priority. But the problem is there is news that in Jan/Feb Ciaz is coming with a new model with more features. Can you help me with this should I wait or should I go ahead with Honda city diesel/Verna/Ciaz... Can you help me if Honda City in diesel is worth a buy or suspension problem is still there in Verna or is Ciaz coming in jan/feb? so that i can make me decision accordingly.

The S-Cross is, no doubt, a better car, but the Baleno Alpha gives you lot more features at this price. So if you can adjust with less features, go for the S-Cross.
