I’d definitely go with the newer, wider speed champions. They look so much nicer and a couple less of them will give more scope for detailing in the garage.

As I live in a small place I can’t have a Lego cityscape as you do, so being able to see what some guys like you do, it kind of fills that void. Great to see what you do!

I like it, sounds fun. I agree to only use 8stud cars for consistency. Also looking forward to the luxury home next to the garage

Sounds cool, if your house will be 3 stories high you could make the garage 2 stories high expanding the capacity and also creating an entrance into the 3rd story of the mansion from the heli-pad

Maybe make it a Tony Stark mansion then! Have a garage of his fine cars and then a highly detailed Iron Man Armory, along with all the other amenities and luxuries. That’d be super cool.

That sounds really cool, it is nice and different from the usual city stuff which makes it more like a cool separate diorama!

I'm a mechanic, and I collect all the Speed Champions sets. So I am VERY excited about this MOC! I watch every video every single day, and I've been waiting for another garage build! If I could weigh in on a couple of things? 1. Keep in mind the factors you said in the video. In the older series the cars are thinner, meaning more cars! But also keep in mind the newer are much more detailed, but take up more space! 2. I would love to see some sort of elevator element! Lots of amazing new garages have a nice multi-level garage! Would be so cool to see that element incorporated into your build! 3. Possibly do some hidden background lighting with a 3rd party Lego lighting kit? 4. Build a loft at the top overlooking some cars. Incorporate things like a seating area, some old car memorabilia, small model displays, and signs! 5. Build the car you drive, using the same Lego frame as the desired size you will be using. Every garage has their daily driver. ;]

In the first 2 minutes, you have an entire visual of how to use a combination of raised platforms and MILS plate to create portable convention builds with elevation changes. Amzing! Then you do a quick MILS tutorial. I built my first MILS plate for my 2x Blacksmith and fell in love with the ease of portability. I'm ordering more plate & bricks to do more of my setup in MILS, but seeing this vid made me realize I need to order 3x as much to really MILS plate 24 baseplate.

11:40 IMO you've already done the 6 wide cars, do the 8! you wont regret it and I think the 6 wide cars are ugly but the newer 8 tiles are super nice. and then you can put doms charger and pauls skyline in there as well. it'd be really nice

Was hoping for a treasure Island or the knights castle or a haunted island for Halloween. You know by the time your bricklink orders arrive it will use up the time. Not that interested in a car garage, maybe a racing track, but its not big enough for that.

I am a huge speed champions fan myself I personally would go with the 8 stud wide cars. I think this idea is amazing can’t wait to see how it turns out

You should make it a mob bosses island or something and I feel like you should make your own characters and make more story’s in your city because that’s what I do make my own hero’s and villains and give them backstory’s sometimes if I can be bothered

The newer champions look nice. I like the idea of extending the garage under the mansion. Perhaps you could have a feature circle rotation platform with the nicest car inside the mansion main floor. Or it even has a car lift, lifting it up from the garage if thats possible.

Definetly add a retro arcade machine in the games room! Maybe a console or a shelf games collection as well. You could also build a mancave with a star wars helmet or a full set of clone armor on display or something

You should use the raised platform in the back of the lego city as a speed champions museum. Separate out by brand if necessary and do multiple buildings. One for Ferrari, one for Porsche, one for others, one for actual race cars.

The interior of the garage would look super sleek if it was modeled after the dark knight batcave with the glowing ceiling. Super modern and minimalist. Cool project 👍

Nice project! As suggestions, about the Winter Village, I actually have mine permanently on a mountain over my city, I just remove the Christmas decorations. About the new Garage project, I'd keep only the new 8-wide cars in there - at least I keep the 6-wide on my city, and the 8-wide I place on my cars display, together with metal ones.

For a brief moment there I thought you were going to announce a part water part jungle Avatar diorama to incorporate all the sets from both films, which would have been off the charts cool! That said I still love what you're doing. The possibilities are endless. Definately use the newer speed Champions. Far more realistic and detailed. I'd love to see an infinity or roof top pool on the mansion. Whatever you do it'll look wicked I'm sure. Great content as always!

Great "new" project! How about a two level garage with the underground part only visible from one side as a "cut-out"? It'll give you the height for a rock side for climbing...?

This idea sounds awesome! Its a great way to display speed champions cars. It would be cool if you made instructions for the garage and mansion. I think a lot of people would love to build the same thing. Something to keep in mind is the scale of speed champions cars working with the minifigures and mansion. You should look at the Lego ideas the architects house for inspiration

The winter village should be in the mountains of the city all year!!! In a cool corner on high mountains with a ski slope! Then you could blend McAllister house close by too!!

I’m so exited about this build!! Currently working on a smaller version of what your making based on 8wide speed champions! The scale is definitely the hardest challenge because you want enough room for both cars and Lego figures to stand next to them! Good luck and looking forward to updates on this!

I absolutely love this new project! All the ideas you have are brilliant! And can't wait to see when those ideas get executed. I think you could maybe put a little bit of both 6 stud and 8+ stud vehicles. I think that mix would be good. Maybe as another idea you could have a two story garage? And have some sort of fun unique elevator contraption to bring the cars up? I don't know. I know you said you kind of wanted the Iron Man feel to this build so it's completely up to you. Glad you found your next passion project and cent wait to see the future updates!

For your next project, I think it would be cool for you to make an Atlantis City custom and you could place it when you placed the snow area.

You should consider building storage lifts in the garage. A lot of high end collectors use storage lifts in garages to park a car under a car. It would allow room for expansion of new cars in the future and just cool.

Definitely add some activities outside it like the rock climbing wall you mentioned, but also 'water flyboarding' and 'yacht toys' 🤙

This is going to be an epic build series and can’t wait to see the finished product. I think you should use a mixture of older and newer speed champions. Not all real cars are the same size and I think it will lend to more realism. I love your idea for this new MOC.

Great next project....glad you are revamping the last MOC build it will look fantastic once completed. I like the new 8 stud wide SC vehicles but there are some classis ^ wide ones as well.... mix and match... a car collection is always changing over as they are meant to be driven and then passed on to others so they can enjoy them....

You could literally make it a Tony Stark mansion, which could give some fun possibilities for what goes inside the mansion... including Tony's workshop.

Reminds me of an old poster with the heading "justification for higher education" with a bunch of cars in a garage with a house in the background overlooking a body of water.

Passion project...good on you. Sounds like a pretty cool idea and perhaps you can display this at some show in your area (or in Calgary (Brick Roundup in the fall!)) :) Perhaps have cars also on elevated racking so as to double up the number of cars in the hanger!

In the mansion I think that vault is great idea,but I think you should add a mini lego room inside of it(using official lego mini boxes from some sets).Great content,keep it up.

You could do a large parking project with a few floors, to save the speed champions.

This project is a fantastic idea!!

You should have the garage extend under the mansion but more importantly extend the mansion on top of the current garage! You don't need that whole space for the helicopter pad.

I would go for the wider speed champions and definitely a game room with arcade machines and such things maybe even a small cinema room at the bottom with the possibility of inserting a gopro style camera so you could play epic Bricksie vids!!

Tony Stark Mansion - bowling Alley, you can incorporate the Friends Bowling Alley possibly. Will the mansion have Iron-Man suits in them?

Should be interesting to see once completed. This is something you should do maybe quarterly, change that area out to something new featuring different themed Lego sets you have each time.

You can double your car storage by building a taller garage and building four post lifts in each bay to stack the vehicles in the garage
