SF6 is just the best honestly, and it’s insane how so many people use each character differently. You will never fight the same Ken or ryu lol and if I sound new to all this is because I am. Play this game while stoned 😅

Sf6 is also a new game so it's possible it'll look more or less interesting as time goes on. T7 finals were so boring because it was obvious it'd just be a kunimitsu mirror, or kuni vs feng. Both of those characters are extremely strong, extremely easy, and extremely over used. Hopefully sf6 doesn't become like that due to dev negligence. T7 easily could have that problem fixed if they nerfed feng akuma zafina and kuni

If I recall Vsync off and Fullscreen mode both help clean up any input delay in most fighting games, the screen tearing can be annoying in some games like 3d ones or 2d with a lot of effects but if it's not too distracting to the player it can help a the gameplay feel a little smoother online. You don't really have to use it but it can help make the game feel more responsive.

Don't forget the sauce mate. Having strong combo potential with a metric shitton of moveset on every character is a big factor.

Ok so basically the tutorial says that when a TRUE blockstring occurs while you're on burnout you're not gonna get wall stunned after blocking DI. But apparently somehow you can do it on wil..???? Still trying to figure out the second part

due to being in burnout, he was locked into a blockchain by Ryu's drive rush attack right before the drive impact. (you can even the see the game says "LOCK" on the right side of the screen, and Max comments on it too "oh i got locked") the game realizes that forcing people in blockstun to attempt to block an drive impact wouldn't be fair, so if somebody is stuck in a block chain, the drive impact won't wallstun, or even wallsplat. not common, but can happen due to drive rush adding additional frame advantage, and especially if the defending player is in burnout, which adds even more frame advantage to the attacking player. :)

In the main menu go to online then go to ranked match

If you are hit by Drive Impact while in blockstun, you can't be stunned.

Basically There should be a gap between your normal and DI to give the defender a chance to counter.. otherwise the game will lock it since it will be an unlockable

Dunno if anything changed, but as far as I know, 'gief has been considered low tier for a while, Manon was considered broken early on before people realized once you're familiar with her she's not that much of a issue. Ken have been considered really solid since the beta.

There haven't been much balance changes in general thus far. Zangief was never that great unless it's someone like snake eyes playing him because he knows how to play zangief very well. Mannon is still great but likewise with JP, people have just gotten used to how she plays and have developed strategies to counter her better. But yea likewise with jp, Mannon is still great. Ken was always top tier. Max even said it WAY back in his character ranking video that no other character plays sf6 the way the devs wanted it to be played quite like Ken does. Digo and Justin wong also said something similar about Ken. He's just very solid. Not op or broken where you've got no chance against him but just very solid that he is effective at every range with a myriad of options.

Very very very late reply, but it’s because the combo that led to drive impact had no gaps in it where the guy could level 1 super. Drive impacts don’t work against a wall with no gap to counter drive impact or super if burnt out.

That's pretty good for being your first Street Fighter. Keep pushing! Playing for decades can be a detriment because old habits die HARD. We instinctively try to do things from other games in crunch time off of muscle memory. Doesn't always work.

@@AllFlashNoDash I’ve had experience competing locally at MK. But I’ve honestly had more fun playing this than I ever did with mk11. You can tell they put passion and made a great game unlike netherrealm who don’t care about their own fans and long time players. The neutral in this game is much harder and there’s a lot more to think about but I love it.

It says "Locked" on the screen it means you're locked in a certain animation and that prevented getting stunned by DI.

@@ulrich7134 If all they need to do is teleport to throw the enemy's direction off, levitate above nearly any projectile, or just keep blowing fireballs at weird angles (and have them bounce off shit), that's not any "A game" that requires skill.
