Discovered this song and several others when my disability service person put these tunes on in the car while we were on our way to lunch and I said I like just about everything except Country and don't mind strong language. Spent all the weeks since that day up until today trying to find this song as well as others that ended up being by New Medicine and Citizen Soldier, just because KZfaq and Google were putting more popular/mainstream songs on the first 3 or 4 pages of search results. I got the idea of putting a couple sentences of the lyrics into google and ended up finally finding this. This song and Citizen Soldier's "Hallelujah, I'm not Dead" really lifted me out of a bad place. Living with Autism in a world where neurodiverse people are presumed to be either completely dumb or incompetent or so high-functioning as to defy diagnosis is hard, and the social anxiety I experience given global events as well as societal trends in the United States has left me all but incapable of feeling safe enough to pursue any manner of employment. It doesn't help that reddit is full of examples of both employers/managers as well as customers abusing retail and food service employees, and my own physical struggles with coordination and upper body strength and overall stamina, leave me as a less-than-ideal potential hire even if I could muster the courage to face abusive management and customers and the physical stresses my body might not be prepared to sustain.

Hey there, I hope you're doing alright!! This song and Citizen Soldier have helped me through some tough times too, struggling with physical and psychological issues is really hard and exhausting to deal with and I'm proud of you for speaking about your problems and having music as a way of coping I hope that your future work environment will be safe and supportive towards you and if they cannot provide either of these two, please leave the company and find yourself another one. I know this is easier said than done but there's no point in having a job for years that'll make you unhappy. But you'll find that nice, supportive company with great coworkers, I'm sure of it. There are many of them out there and it might take some digging, but you'll get there, so don't give up It really sucks that neurotypical people have such an overgeneralizing view on neurodivergent people, especially people with autism, which is probably because of the way autistic people are presented in media (e.g. "The Good Doctor" and - terrible example, but that's why I'm mentioning it: - "Music" by Sia) I really wish that the media portrayed it more realistically, ofc people of these two opposite sides exist but autism is a spectrum, which is something many don't seem to realize Have a great day, stay safe, I'm proud of you ^w^

This is literally one of my main comfort songs and it got age restricted 😰 (despite the fact I am literally like 2 months from being an ADULT-) So anyway thanks I was literally about to have an anxiety attack cuz I thought this would be gone forever 👍
