Good to hear a positive review of the boots because after my first post over a year ago I received several negative replies regarding how bad their Dovre boots had been. I have nothing but praise for them, never let me down.

Thanks Mark. My previous pair lasted 10 years and I had got them second hand. Heard there have been quality issues so want to show viewers how good the recently manufactured boots really are. Hopefully they won't let me down. Bill.

If you have narrow feet please don't waste your money. Feet swell over the day but if you have narrow feet you will be disappointed. That's where Kenetrex comes in but they cost Three times the money and will not last as long. I bought my first pair of Meindl boots from Cabela's because I knew Dick. He actually still worked every day back then. I wasn't alone. Three of us bought them. None of us ever changed boot brands. I've hunted from the southern USA to the Brooks Range of Alaska. They have never let me down. One thing I'd like to point out is "dry time" I've never put on a moist pair in the morning. Don't know how they do it but I'm a fan. Looks like beautiful country there. I'd love to hunt with you guys sometime. Take care of yourself.

Your welcome. The boots are excellent, I have used them in the snow, ice, river crossings, up mountains, you name it, still warm and dry feet, absolutely worth every penny. I have heard some people complain but I can only guess they were a bad batch. This is the second pair I have had and I love them. You get used to the weight of the boot soon enough, now I don't even know they are on to be honest. Crossing high rivers that with short boots you would have to take off and get wet feet is the big bonus. Bill
