I was a server at Tony’s like 15 years ago! I always thought it was good! They literally made the meatballs from scratch and breaded the chicken Parmesan from scratch. I don’t think people know how fresh the food actually is

They’re really closing it down I was never a fan of that attraction but it is sad how Disney is clearly doing this for reasons linked to massive budget cuts

Was at Universal Orlando this past weekend and as soon as my sister told me she had NEVER seen Country Bears, we made a trip over to MK just to see it before it closed for refurb. Inappropriately wonderful 😜

I had the chicken Parmesan at Tony’s and I requested a different kind of pasta and I had fettuccine instead. It was the best Chicken Parmesan I’ve had in a long time, the chicken was juicy and finished every bite. The mozzarella cheese sticks are amazing and I’ll be visiting Tony’s next time I go to Magic Kingdom. I actually sat at the same table. Love your video! But Sorry to see that you didn’t feel well after your meal.

Ok as a New Yorker who’s had a lot of Italian food but left NY, (IK you’re from NJ and can relate)… I am usually impressed by a lot of pastas but after seeing your food at Tony’s… I’d probably say that we will be skipping that. We went to trattoria Al forno last trip, got the gnocchi and lasagna… it was the best Italian food we ever had. Ever. Their wine was SO good too. Hope to see you in feb on our trip! Thanks for the review.

I definitely will be missing the original Country Bear Jamboree but am excited to see what they come up with! Also, those chocolate bananas are SO good! We would get them when I was little and my mom would make them for us when we got back home from our trips! I always buy them in the stores now for the memories :)

I’m skeptical I heard about the Splash Mountain Refurb is going to have less than 20 animatronics as opposed to the original that had more than 60. Theres a strong rumor that the ride will be dominantly screens which I hate: I hate when they use screens to replace aniamtronics, props and set pieces I saw they covered up the original facade with vegetation, possibly because turning it into like a rain forest was cheaper than building something along the lines of the facade from the original Splash Mountain. The funny thing is they could have probably just left it mostly as it is because as far as I remember the Setting of Princess and the Frog isn’t too far off from that of the original

As somebody who lived in East TN in the heart of Dollywood, I always steered clear of Frontierland at Disney! Lol! I just need that classic 90s & 2000s Disney I grew up with when I’m at WDW! Lol it would be so fun if they updated the show to be a similar show to the one from the goofy movie! & they can sell opossum hats! Anywhooossss I’m really enjoying all of the wrightdownmainstreet content 🔥thank youuu 🥰

Kristen, I agree with you about a lot of things, but sad to say, Country Bears is not one of them😆 It’s not for me, so I am excited for the change❤ Have you ever had the mozzarella sticks at Walk Ons? They are the best I have had ever🎉

Sorry to hear the food made you sick 😞 We ate there last visit and I had the chicken parm. Thought it was good and no sickness for me so maybe something was just off when you went. That banana looked good! Didn't know they had those.

The only way to get a good pull is to do it straight from the fryer. It has to be piping hot, you can’t hesitate for pictures. And of course, if something is dry… ask for more sauce, for bread, cheese sticks and the pasta. Give the dishes a chance to be their best.

Honestly they need to make it a lady and the character experience. Bonus points for real puppies. If you could meet lady after lunch (obviously outside of the actual dining area) that would be amazing.

I use to love Tony's and always liked what I got there but I had the Steak back in 2017 and ended up with the worst stomach ache after and can't bring myself to go back

I so agree that non authentic food can still be good! For any of us that occasionally eat at Olive Garden, PF Chang’s, or even Taco Bell, I don’t think we have expectations of being transported to Italy, China, or Mexico. We just want some tasty food! Even if it’s totally Americanized.

Mozzerella has to be a certain temp to get a good pull. You can ask for more sauce I never heard a restaurant not give you more sauce. Thank for the vlog. I will make it my business to try Tonys

I did not know you can get a frozen chocolate covered banana at Magic Kingdom- one of my favorite frozen treats. So sorry Tony’s did not sit well with you - wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏🏻

I went to Tony’s twice in the past month. The chicken parm tasted like straight up salt. I couldn’t even finish the chicken it was so salty. I only finished the pasta. Garlic bread was amazing.

I agree about it not having to be authentic to be good. I prefer authentic Mexican food but sometimes I want Tex-mex or Taco Bell. If it tastes good, who cares. That mozzarella stick was huge but such a sad cheese pull lol😂

I ate at Tony’s for the first time ever in October for the nostalgia. I’m gonna be honest, it was worse then Olive Garden. I live in an area with Lots of Italian restaurants and thought it had no comparison to even a local pizza joint. If you want nostalgia and convenience then go here, but there are other Italian places on property and in the parks that are much better.

Kristen- can you do a comparison be Boardwalk’s LaTrattoria and Disney Spring’s Maria & Enzos(also Enzo’s Hideaway). I’m a NY Italian and will be looking for the better of the Italian food on Disney properties.

Trattoria is my fave Italian at Disney World! I used to love the lasagna there but since they changed it I have been ordering the chicken parm or the secret menu shrimp scampi pasta there
