The 2023 Mercedes Benz CLS450 sacrifices practicality in the name of beauty, and the mid-size luxury sedan certainly looks pretty. Within its shapely shell is a decadent interior and luscious atmosphere, well, at least for those sitting in the front two seats. The sedan's coupe-like roofline contributes to the aforementioned compromises when it comes to passenger space, and its lilliputian trunk is another flaw that owners won't find on the Audi A7 hatchback.

The better looking CLS is the 1st gen model. It's a work of art and it set a trend on the market for 4 door coupé look alike cars.

If it is not a V6 it is not for me. I like the V6 with the electric charge with the turbo charge together to give thrilling performance and better gas mileage than a V8.

Facts..I have 2013 CLS 550 4matic..absolutely love it! U can do whatever u want to a V6..it still ain't gonna pull like a V8(esp if u'v modded it).The 19-20 mpg I get is quite good actually.

I drive the CLK 32O 2-door coupe, V-6, burgundy over gray interior. Bose sound system CD for me and the young ladies. Love the fuel consumption of 28-30 miles to gallon. This automobile is mint condition. M.B. motto is "The Best Or Nothing." And that's how it is! Love it, lots of compliments! Say NO to all this EV Bull! Ty.

I have never seen any Audi to ever be more luxurious than any Mercedes. They are the epitome of fine automobiles. Of course there are other wonderful offers but I can not say that they are better than Mercedes especially from the Interior unless it is Bentley.

@@McBeakerson What? I have never heard of that. Quality, Per mechanics they all recommend Mercedes over BMW and Audi vehicles. I own a C class and it is far beyond luxurious than the A4 which it competes with and it has a far better interior design than An A4. Competitor to competitor, once again I have never ever seen an Audi out perform Mercedes in being more luxurious. The A7 and A5 coupe are the only two Audi products that are nice in my opinion but both are most definitely not even close to being more luxurious than a Mercedes.

@Serdar özarslan O ok. Well, that proves why they both have their own audience because you and I are on the opposite sides of the spectrum. I have never seen an elegant Audi. A luxurious Audi, yes but not elegant. You would have to be bias to think Audi makes better interiors than Mercedes. Everyone in the Automotive industry knows that even if they don’t like Mercedes.

@Serdar özarslan No, I won’t say Bias. I am a designer who love fine details. I don’t like all of Mercedes’ models. Some of their models I would rather own a Japanese vehicle over it such as the A-Class and GLA model. But of course, the world would be boring if everyone liked and drove the same brand. After all, all brands are successful in some way for appealing to different people with different personalities and likings.

CLA doesn’t compete with the S8 it is a direct competitor to the Audi A7, And S7 but the AMG GT 4 goes against the Audi RS7 which the AMG GT 4 is a different car than the Standard CLS model

The rear looks the same design and that was the disproportionate (ugly) part, so why they didn’t change that?!?! From the front it’s the same as the majority of the new Benz ranges. Personally, the Audi and Lexus exterior body lines & lighting design look more propositioned (better) but Benz interior is a level above!

The evolving outer lines of the CLS is disappointing, it is sad how they went from being very slim and sharp lines to this dum design that looks like any other modern car.

It's the case with a lot of cars. The C219 was best looking CLS, the W211 was the best looking E Class, the E60 5 series, the Lexus LS430, Alfa Romeo 159, the 1st gen Audi TT. Those designs were classics that passion went into.
