Played Foundry som Weeks ago and Immeditely thought of our beloved Space Elevator and how cool a little Glimpse in the Distant Orbit of a Space Station would imrove the Look and Feel of the Building. Awesome that we now get it! 😊

I hope we will be able to change cost multiplier for elevator parts or milestone. x5 will be the minimum in coop game !

@@marcbennett9232 that's fair, I do want to try it at one point. Honestly, what I want most from a mod is one that makes infrastructure cost more, so there's more of a reason to expand production other than milestones. For example: Make a single constructor cost 100 plates, 10 reinforced iron plates, 100 screws, 20 iron rods. Make a single smelter cost 100 copper wire, 20 concrete, 50 iron plates, 10 iron rods, and 50 screws. Infrastructure costing more means you scale production for more infrastructure which just translates to expanding more, larger factories, and makes mass production of parts make more sense.

@@BarneyStinson-d1p oh hell yeah, difficulty sliders for enemy damage multipliers, player attack multipliers, tier/milestone cost multipliers. Pre-unlocked/discoverable alt-recipe allow/exclude list. So much tweakability potential could be in Advanced Game Settings without having to change the core game at all.

@@KrimsonStorm sounds like satisfactory plus is right up your alley! might want to give it a quick try before 1.0. plus is also changing significantly, but getting an idea early is a good idea. they do increase the cost of infrastructure, not quite to the extent you described but still a bunch. for example, foundations are steel plates, steel sheets and screws. where plus goes really crazy is in the items and byproducts. and trust me, your factories will be much much larger. at the core plus changes the base resources, iron is stiritite, copper is sapharite and limestone is rubyte. each starts getting you iron, copper and tin respectively, each of which has plates, rods, wire and sheets, the processing gives you stone as a byproduct to make concrete. eventually you can sort the ores to get better yield but also new metals like lead, zinc and magnesium. I havent finished it yet, but they get into brass and bronze, as well as molten metals, and way crazier things. if you give it a shot, my only advice is 1- absolutely do the tutorial, otherwise you will be lost. 2- dont rush the milestones, absorb all the new things before continuing.

I think these requirments are insanely high because it only unlocks "employee of the planet" cup and nothing else, they will probably reajust or move tier 8 to phase 4 with more reasonable parts goals

Looking back at the requirements, the insanely high numbers didn't feel too bad once you got your factories in working order. Getting through the lower numbers will definitely go way faster.

It's a joke IMO because once you automate the parts required, the game end-game parts are super easy. Edit.. Except for assembly director systems... that one is a pain because of automated wiring.

Agree it's no joke. It's exactly the same jump in difficulty that each tier gives you. You gotta figure out new tech specific to that tier, craft parts unlocked in that tier. Only difference is now you don't need to choose between idling your game for final parts or building a factory 50x bigger than any previous tiers required.

@@sirrebralpalsy6542 Yes, it would only take items from one input until that leaves gaps and only then adds in items from other belts. This is in my eyes a requirement to make some of the cyclic recipes like aluminium refinement reliable without resorting to workarounds like trashing excess items.

I'm assuming your epilepsy is photosensitive? There are glasses which filter out rapid changes in brightness/color, as well as monitors/TVs that do that same. I highly recommend researching some of these alternatives. Software and hardware is always going to have unforeseen glitches which are nearly impossible to reliably and predictably reproduce. The team will be able to mitigate it for sure, but a guarantee is impossible because most of the things that come together to make your computer work and run Satisfactory were not made by the Satisfactory team. The current ending is so believable. Extract resources from a planet using a completely disposable "employee" (look at all those crashed drop pods...) and in the end they just take the resources and say "thank you."

It made sense that there would eventually be something at the other end of it, something receiving these parts for some purpose. And finally we get to see what, and why.
