I personally don't care what a metal detector looks like. They should have spent their time and resources on improvement to the machines. Just my opinion.

I think Garrett needs to come up with a detector that is going to compete with the XP Deus 2 , Equinox, and Legend !!!! The Camouflage face-lift is a waste of time!!!!

Hydro dipping a machine is not a new addition just a accessory at this point. Love how they are made in the USA. It’s time for another game changer not a aesthetic mod.

I love my Garrett AT Pro, glad for the DD person to get his own signature series. But I really enjoy getting others involved.

Seem to be struggling to sell more machines....great single frequency machines...but just like Wal-Mart they took the duck dynasty to another level made kagillions....hopefully it works and they can put that profit into r&d and make some equal or ground breaking technology to win back the game from minelab and others who have a front running on simultaneous frequency machines.....

I don’t think I’ll sneak up on signals with a camo dipped machine. I do know that there are people who will absolutely love this though. It’s just not for me personally. “Happy Hunting” everyone!

i like Garrett, I own two. But camo'd? Lay it down and have a hard time finding it. I have had friends lose pointers and shovels because they did not put red or yellow tape on them. I like the duck call as well. Wouldn't mind adding on to my arsenal.

So I have two Apex machines that will not work with the headphones, has very poor separation and will die if even splashed with a wave at the beach. And now the best they have in response is some paint and a duck call. How about this? I have two Apex machines with headphones, two Raider coils, one Reaper and a Ripper coil for sale. Done!

Doesn’t matter to me. I wouldn’t buy it because of camo or Jase’s name. I’d still buy black or yellow.

Ive not been a great lover of the Wonder Max, and have wished I did no give away my Ace 350. And my max has gone back for a new coil and board. Really not a fan of the max...but i bet i got a lemon.

Would be funny to have duck sounds instead of beeps when locating a target. An 86 signal would sound like a flock of ducks. 😂

Sooooo they did nothing to improve them just gave another color option? This is why Garrett is facing such stiff competition now, especially in the area of pricing.

I don't believe Garrett wants to make metal detectors for detectorists. That release is pitiful. Something is happening down there in Texas.

Dressing up existing machines does not keep up with the ground breaking oppposition such as the Minelab, as much as I like Garrett gear, I actually find more items with a Minelab detector. Time to up the technological ante Garrett, you are losing the fans of the AT-Pro and At-Max to the Equinox 800. Love to see what Garrett can really do.......

I wish they would have spent the R&D funds on a firmware update for the Apex that added new features and improvements. The AT Max needs to be retired and replaced with an SMF AT Apex. Paint jobs, no bueno.

Are you serious Garret! All the new top of the line multi-frequency machines that have come out and the best you can do is give us a new paint job on old technology!! This pains me to the bone to say this but Calabash is right. Garret is basically a dying brand ! The apex is so bad that my single frequency bounty hunter land ranger can beat the socks off of it in iron separation. That’s how bad the apex was !

Not a new series of detectors at all. Just a new paint job on some old ones. Jeez man, and a duck call? Why not put some cash into a detector that rivals the others on the market? Even the big boys on KZfaq who have been swinging garrets have now moved on to equinox and nokta makro. You folks need to put some money into research and development if you’re going to hang with those better detectors out there on the market.

This is sad . I've had the ATMax and a ATPro and I wouldn't buy another. Very sad Garrett. Put money in your research. You can paint a turd gold but it's still a turd !!!

Come on Garett, Charles Garrett would be rolling over in his grave, start working on putting those lying over priced minelabs out of business with some better technology and move our hobby in the next century.
