Not sure if you'll see this, but I really appreciate your enthusiasm man. Soo many people are talking crap about the new releases and it's frustrating to see, I really like all 3 releases. Is it their best work? Of course it's not, but I don't expect it to be since it's near the end of their long career. I appreciate it for what it is, I'm really looking forward to the new album!!!

Growing up in the mid 2000s, and getting into Metallica post St. Anger, I have less of a childhood attachment to early Metallica. Meaning, early Metallica is still my all time favorite, I didn't get blindsided by a massive shift in sound and the zeitgeist of the Napster situation. Load/Reload are great albums, and most people seemed to be on board somewhat until Napster and then later St. Anger. Ever since it's forced 2 camps.

Definitely Death Magnetic, never thought about And Just For All. That would be awesome if they made modern version of And Justice. Can't wait until the new album drops.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I mean, you don't really get to choose what you like brother. I wouldn't beat yourself up. I can understand what issues people might have with it, but at the end of the day it's not gonna make you any less of a Metallica fan.

@@HawKNLoaD I feel like I'm not a big fan of the beginning of the song (maybe first 3 minutes), and that's where I need to listen to it more. I know that's a life time for a song to kick into overdrive. But the middle and ending definitely has that Justice and Load/reload vibe and I absolutely love that sound..

Thanks for letting us know ahead of time that you'll be completely biased when reviewing the album. Nah I'll just give it a listen, probably hate it, then in a few years time give if another chance like I have done with everything Metallica has done since load

@@shr00mate Oh, that... I meant they're getting old and unable to play with the same vigour as their teens. Heck, they're probably the same age as my grandparents! It's sad that the old Metallica energy is slowly fading, but I don't blame them. Iron Maiden has also gotten soft over the years. Ozzy Osbourne is also putting out slowed songs nowadays. It's expected now.
