I bought that for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. That vacuum is awesome. She wanted a battery operated one and we have had other brands in the past. This one just made a lot of sense since we have a lot of M18 batteries. I give it 5 stars. Great review! 👍🏻

I just picked this up from Home Depot. The battery w/charger at $250 was a bit of a hit with the unit being $199. Glad I got my military discount at 10%. Breaking the unit in today 1/28/23

That'd be good for the RV too. Since we're already using our M18 drill to raise and lower the stabilizer jacks on the trailer.

Hey Vince wondering which would be better for site cleanup. Backpack or this compact? Manly Sheetrock, ceiling tile, insulation, etc. maybe concrete. We sometimes do work at offices that are occupied and need something that is battery powered. Sometimes outlets aren’t around. Now that you had some time using this compact would you care to share your thoughts?

We operate a commercial cleaning company and picked up one of these bad boys a week ago. Best thing ever, just gets a little heavy after awhile with the 12.0 battery. Also use the Milwaukee back pack vacuum...we’re done with cords. Great review and videos...thanks

I have 90% of Milwaukee tools however I purchased the craftsman version. The craftsman is more powerful has longer run time and has led lights. Very nice review.

Bought that vacuum 2 days ago I am impressed and used it with 3.0amp the suction is good I am happy that I cleaned my car carpet than wasting 1 or 2 dollars in the car wash 😀

Perfect for pre cabinet setting and cleaning up after cutting base and casing but I’m not sold until I have an attachment for I my mitre suppose i would have to take some measurements as it might be good for small job rips on the table, sanding, and a few plunge cuts with the track. It’s pricey as far as a vac but less than a festool by a long shot.

So is this the one that doesn't suck? I have the tea kettle style one and it constantly stops working. Exchanged it for another one and THAT one does it too.

So will this thing do well with metal shavings from a grinder and wood sanding debris? That's always my challenge.

This model is still is my main house vaccum I even use it to clean my church when I volunteer. I would really like to see a classic stand up vaccuum with a light powerhead and detail hose for chairs and stairs. Makita made one.

U could use it short one piece. ON STAIRS. Saves the back and I would vacuum off the knees. Good for the back. Good video I like it. Be good for pesky drywall dust. Would beat a broom

Has anyone used this vacuum for tool related dust collection? Wondering it i could pair this with my router or if I should go with the packout

I bought this vacume on December 3rd 2020. The attachment only go a certain way with the crevis tool on top, it is very choppy on low pile carpet and horrible on high pile carpet. There is no height adjustment on the carpet attachment with the spinning brush. This vacume does not come with a walmout and does not stay upright on its own. It cleans ok on hardwood surfaces. My wife wants me to return this because of these issues.

Although I'm a Makita man they don't have anything like this, especially with a HEPA filter. Seems the motor on the carpet head isn't high torque and bogs down on carpet but that will depend on the nap. I intend to go out today and get a closer look at this.

I've had my for 2 months now. It's great as a stick vacuum. Only con is the crappy accessory holder.

Has anybody figured out a way to wall mount these? Maybe a 3d printed bracket or something? I like the vaccuum but one big flaw is that its so top heavy so it does not stand up right. Cannot figure out a proper way to really store it.

You should do a tool test with the knock off M12 and M18 batteries on Amazon, vs the real ones.

I really like to see how it compares to my dyson vacuum. It would be awesome to just change the battery when it’s dead.

can the next ttr be the Milwaukee cordless vacuum vs some corded competitor like maybe the shark rocket they showed in the pipeline it'll beat a dyson cordless (which was arguably the best cordless house vac on the market) so what about corded i bought a cordless shark than a corded and the corded was miles better

Hi Vince, thanks for the vacuum demo! Looks to be a good product. On a side note...I picked up the M12 Fuel Vacuum a couple days ago, then took it back to HD. My Wife wasn’t impressed! She said the hose was too short. She doesn’t like short cords or hoses! What can I say? It was my vacuum, not her vacuum, however...she dissed on it so much I couldn’t keep it. This may sound weird, but when I get a new Milwaukee tool I like to show it off and get her approval that it’s a cool tool and how did we survive prior to getting it? There’s no way I could keep it, then break it out to suck up the dogs hair on grooming day knowing that she would not be impressed. She was comparing it to the Stinger! She said yeah the Stinger is corded, yeah it is much louder then the M12, yeah it’s probably not as convenient, but it has a longer suction tube and it’s lighter in weight. She might say the same thing about the new M18 vacuum. The more I think about it I have to agree with her. Milwaukee should lengthen all of their vacuum hoses by at least 3’. I should be able to leave the vacuum cleaner on the ground, yet stand up straight to suck stuff up. I’d like to get you thoughts on this.

It seems like a great vacuum but the canister is way to small

A few thoughts on the vaccum. 1. Are the parts connections plastic, metal, or glass fiber ? It there plastic, they will not last. 2. Dog hair, fiberglass, and dry wall ? I wonder how well it will do ? 3. Replacement filters. What is the availability now and what is Milkwakees commitment in the future for filters and parts ? 4. Just my opinion, but it looks to me like there is a lot of plastic in the tool. I use Fein and there not plastic on the inside. I know I am picking it apart, but it looks cool and from the video I like it. 👍 I would like to see further testing on the vaccuum and I am in the market for a battery vaccuum solution at the moment.

It’s great for sucking up pet hair and sucks at the same time because the hair clogs things up.. the other thing that sucks is it’s not compatible with their back pack vac. I give it the rating that it’s kinda good. But could have been tons better with som mods.

Bought this vacuum, it's not great lol. I'm an electrician so I bought this with the intention of picking up small copper bits and little insulation strippings. It cant even do that. Really all it's good for is dirt. That's it. Feels like it's not made for the trades. And no it definitely can not pick up little screws. One of the bigger drawbacks is that it DRAINS batteries. I used it with a fully charged 6.0 high output battery and I shit you not, it drained the battery in 10 MINUTES. yes that quick.
