crospotter13 it’s a Cooper S it’s chill red with a black roof black door mirrors and wheels. Its an automatic transmission got it for my fiancée to use I’ve been teaching her to drive manual for a year but she can’t get her head around them. I’m a driving instructor and have an Audi A3 for work but she’s from the Philippines and let’s say she has a low centre of gravity so struggling to see over the steering wheel 😂 plus it’s her dream car to have a mini but since we have ordered it I’m starting to fall in love with it too.

thanks :) car has little over 14.000 kilometers now and I am very satisfied with it - drives great, consumption is much less than my previous car (Citroen C3) and every time you drive it it brings a smile on your face. I put ceramic coating on the car and did dechrome some parts in the meantime and that video will be live in a few days on the channel so stay tuned :) Also, enjoy your Mini :)

@@crospotter13 When you say the consumption is much less; do you mean better or worse?! And, what kind of fuel consumption do you get, on average?

@@notsimplesimon I menat it's better, I need less fuel :) On average in first 25.000 km around 8litres/100 km. On open road/highway around 6 litres, in the city it's up to 8,5 litres/100 km usually, for a petrol car I think it's very good

Steering feel on Mini is one of my favorite parts of the car as it is heavy and presice 👌 You will get used to it, after driving it for months ( I already have more than 13,000 km) you get used to it and other cars seem to light to steer when you drive them :)

Really? I quite like the JCW haha, am thinking about goong for the exterior JCW Packgage (side skirts, bumpers, spoiler) as I think it looks more agressive with them

@@crospotter13 I'm getting close to 10000 KM and really like the car. I'm in Denmark where until recently our car tax was 180%. It got lowered to 150% a couple of years ago. Still crazy.

Speaking of the 60th anniversary, I just filmed the 3-door version on Frankfurt Motor Show and will upload that soon, very nice car love the leather and added elements inside (green elements on brown seats, green elements on the dash etc.). How much was yours? Is it in british green? 😀

Fantastic information once again! Gives me the idea if I brought a car of good value without making the dealership richer. I'm in Australia and these Minis were selling out fast so got myself a black one just like yours! I ended up paying 23,399 euros for mine which I was lucky to get but the green ones were sold out in like 2 weeks. I don't know how many they made but they were selling fast. I must say I am jealous of the zero interest for 3 years, that's an amazing deal as my finance is at 4.99% for 5 years then I'll fully own the Mini. Thanks for your reply to me too I have a better idea of how companies operate in different parts of the world.

Well I had my friend sitting behind but he is around 1,70 People who are above that can not sit, at least not comfortable if you are same height as me (I’m around 1.87m) Suspension is a bit harsh but that’s why it’s very good to drive. I think the only problem are speed bumps because the wheelbase is not long, but other than that it’s really good. You should have a go and try it - I drove hundreds of cars and this one is among the best that’s why I bought one :)

Hello, thanks for the comment:) Nope; my previous car was Citroen C3, but I did drive new Mazda MX5 and it’s very fun to drive but I’m too tall for it and also no luggage space at all which is bad for my often roadtrips so Mini is much more practical in that segment. Both are very fun to drive that’s for sure 🏁

It is very good in terms of materials, we’ll see how it goes with years, but so far 10,000km it’s great.

It is a short car with firm suspension so it's not the best on bumpy roads. But considering how sporty it drives it's not that bad. It's actually ok. On normal roads it's fine.

Thank you for the comment 😀 Yeah Gumball was crazy and there is a movie that will be more than 1 hour long coming in a few weeks so stay tuned :) I test drove both of them and my friend recently bought the S (but pre-facelift model). When you add JCW exhaust on the S it sounds awesome with all the pops & bangs. When the car is stock (no jcw exhaust) there aren’t that many crackles. Speaking of this sound I really can’t believe they managed for it to sound so good for 1.5 liter engine. I filmed seperate video with just exhaust sound and will publish that very soon. I went for the regular version because in Croatia we have extra tax based on CO2 emmision and that makes the S version around 6000€ more expensive than mine, so that was out of my budget. However maybe in a few years I will go for S or JCW 😈 I am sure your next Mini will look awesome in this spec 😎 Let me know which one you picked 😃

@@crospotter13 So which is best the 1.5 or the 2.0 ? Also can you get the 1.5 remapped for it to go faster ? My 122bhp Golf 09 reg got remapped to 155bhp for just £250.

@@RITWINS well 2.0 is more potent but much more expensive here in Croatia (we have extra tax on CO2 emmision), so this makes more sense. I can get 165 HP on Stage one for around 500 euro so much more sense. And even without that, the car goes 0-100 in 7,9 seconds which is good for a "regular" version

There is a revmatch on normal Cooper if you have Mini Driving Modes (optional extra when ordering), when in Sport mode the car does the automatic revmatch 😀

Not sure about subwoofers, but I think regular sound system is great! My friend has the Harman&Kardon, and I don’t think it’s worth the premium....

hello mate, yes you can get with automatic and it's a very good one 7-speed dual clutch same as on BMW models. Not sure I understand which screen do you mean? Head up screen in front of the driver? If it's that yeah it's also available but I don't like the head-up display in Mini because the plastic that pops out of the dashboard doesn't look that good I think

@@crospotter13 like someone can be an asshole and easily sugar your tank. You can't open my door to my gas outside, you have to unlock and open the door from inside of my car (and it's only a 20G car when brand new). I'd expect Mini to have that, still love and want the car though. Will definitely check out that video, thanks!

Oh that - I realised that that the gas door can’t be opened when the car is locked :) so that’s a good thing, I was also worried at first but when you lock it door is locked so all good 😀😀 thanks once again for the comment glad you like the car 😀 I’m filming the night POV drive in 2 weeks with my new GoPro8 it will be on the channel so stay tuned 😃😃

It looks awesome, but I do wash my car at least once a week, often more 😁

On the highway 130 km/h I managed to get 5,7 liters/100km, which is 41.27 U.S. MPG 😀

@@crospotter13 I'm in UK, so that was sports mode I gather.. 😉

@@Lynn-zw7dr I used the worng converter (US one), in UK converter it says 49.56 MPG :D

@@crospotter13 hi leather seats comfort pack, alloy wheels not black, but thinking now whether we should go for the Cooper rather than Cooper S for fuel economy as pensioners, can change mind up to tomorrow lunchtime, how many mpg did you get on Cooper green mode please? We're having the green mode as not speedster's 😉, it states combined fuel 44.5mpg for Cooper 40.1 for Cooper S, it's going to be automatic.

@@Lynn-zw7dr well my friend bought the S version and I can say that mine non-S is much more efficient. In Green mode for sure you can do around 43 mpg on my version

Mine doesn’t have but I have Bluetooth pairing for calls, and I have built in navigation so don’t need it. But you can get Apple CarPlay for this car though if you need it :) Not sure which pack is in my country, but in UK is part of Navigation Pack...

I’ve driven S, haven’t tried JCW. Compated to S, to be honest not that much difference - yes S is faster, but the fun factor is very close with this one as the handling is perfect and with classic road use regular one will be almost as good as S :)

@@Bambotb I prefer 3 door because of the looks. Also, in terms of agility 3 door is better as it is shorter...For driving I would take 3 door but 5 door is more practical. I drove the 5 door variant and it was also very good to drive

personal taste I just don't like it, in summer it's hot and sun is shining directly to your head, I really don't see the sense in it, I prefer to open the window if I want fresh air and nature sound on scenic road :)

@@crospotter13 With a sunroof the car is more airy inside and if you have a dark headliner it could feel claustrophobic for some people. But I have to say: my climate is always on and i like to open the window too. So for me it‘s more the airy reason I guess. Greetings from Germany.

Taj motor je u velikom broju auti i vec dugo na trzistu ((bmw 118i npr ima spomenuti motor, kao i i8 di je napucan na preko 200ks sto samo dokazuje koliko potencijala ima). Po meni dobro provjerena formula i nebi trebalo nikakvih problema bit, a to sam naravno i uzeo u obzir kod kupnje buduci da ja dosta vozim i prelazim dosta km

Tako je, iz BMW grupacije je model, prosla generacija je bila PSA, tako da je ovaj miljama ispred po tehnologiji i svemu. Novi model se sprema tek za cca 3 godine, sada je ovo taman redizajn tako da stvarno se isplati, ja sam isto prvo gledao rabljeni ali ove ponude sta imaju su stvarno vrh

Thanks and congrats on your purchase 😀 Stripes are great, but I did need to change one of them as on the highway a stone chip damaged it (I made it worse in car wash) but official dealership did a great job of putting the new one in the same place so it’s possible to get then after the purchase if you like them 😀
