Finally getting Emperor's Children specific sculpts would be cool. I'd like to see upscaled Tartaros terminators for them too.

The light sentinel looks like a fun basis for a necromunda walker. It'll depend on how conversion friendly the pilot's seating is.

I wasn't bothered waiting for a multipart terminator captain so I just kitbashed on an old thunder hammer and storm shield from the old assault terminators kit, they fit pretty much perfectly, (I did this on the leviathan captain for anybody who was wondering, though you probably assumed that anyway)

Orks are the winners here. Boss Blackhawk is a badass and the blinged-up Mek Nob is a maniac with all the toys. Very cool.

I like that the new Ethereal is so refreshing. It could be foreshadowing for whats to come for Tau in the future. The fyreslayer is straight up Salamander conversion fodder.

Regarding the redacted faction to be the emperor's children. The chaos space marine codex hasn't come out yet, and I think through that codex reveal we might find out if the redacted faction is emperor's children. Because GW has been releasing multiple detachments with other codexes. And like the space marines codex the detachments are based on the loyalist chapters (e.g fire-storm for the salamanders and iron-storm for the iron hands) , and they might do the same thing with the chaos space marine codex, and if it is found out that there isn't a emperor's children based detachment, then the redacted faction could be the emperor's children. Just a funny shower thought had a while ago :D

My wish list will always include more Gravis units and characters but I also want a Ballistus with more weapon options. The guns it has are cool but I want options

You know what would be fun? If GW had a yearly or bi-yearly contest where fans submit their ideas for a new unit for each faction, and the winners have theirs inducted into that factions model line the next year. Anything from wholecloth inventions to models for pieces of background lore characters that haven’t had a new model in the game for the longest time, if ever.

I think it would be a good sign that the mystery codex will be Emperor's Children if the Chaos Space Marines codex doesn't contain Noise Marines or any of the EC special characters.

Good to hear what is upcoming for the summer. Instead of having to constantly check to see if the Aeldari Codex has dropped, I can chill out now knowing that Sisters and GSC are next. one of the few positives of the new DA combat patrol is the multipart bladeguard kit, most people have the Indomitus ones and dont realise just how much stuff is in the box, it's three guys but they have 7 swords, a bunch of heads, etc. I built mine without the shields (they aren't on the datasheet) and use the shields for assault terminators.

I wonder if the individual releases of the space marines is tied to the Nids winning the Leviathan box release "game." If so, they should say so and that is cool. The ripple effects of that win are being felt months later.

I would like to see a heavy assault intercessor unit with master crafted chainswords or eviscerators, ap-1 damage 2. I know we have aggressors as a good melee unit, something not as good as them shooting wise, not as good in melee, but can take a unit of 5 or 10 with oc2

As a sisters player the only things I would really hope to get in terms of minis are the preachers, crusaders and death cult assassins in plastic. Right now I'm using an incredibly old Necromunda Redemtionist model as a preacher. It's equipment fits with the zealot's vindicator option but it does still look quite dated beside the rest of the army. Any other new units GW decides to send my way would just be gravy.

My own thoughts on the Astartes specifics? Well, I would like the Ballistus Dreadnought to hit the shelves soon. Preferably in a multi-part kit with some sort of melta cannon, to have the option to hot-swap either the twin lascannon, or the missile launcher. The Terminator Captain? Eh, I'm not too annoyed at it being delayed, as I already have the "I haz merdered a Screamer-Killer" monopose one from the Starter Set box set. And I am quite fond of that particular mini already. As for the Lieutenant with combi-weapon? Eh, to be honest, you can kitbash him from either an Infiltrator/incursor, or a Reiver, with a combi-weapon from the multi-part Primaris Sternguard Veterans set. Especially if you want him to have a combi-plasma or combi-melta, instead of the combi-flamer the Leviathan one has. Or even if you want him in a different pose than the "rifle slung, pointing with knife" one. Or if you want him to have a helmet on. The Scouts will probably be a 5-man set, as theorised. But you can make your own from the Neophytes from the Black Templars Primaris Crusader squad, if you don't mind doing a bit of kitbashing/converting.

Honestly, if the mystery codex is for the Emperor's Children, I'm going to be FROTHING mad because World Eaters got shafted INSANELY hard by being introduced barely a few months before 10th edition, instantly nullifying all of their codex material. EC getting preferential treatment would just further the insult.

Something about the heavy walker the Solar Auxilia got, looks off, proportion-wise to me. This light sentinel on the other hand is hitting all the right aesthetic notes for me.

Scouts are most likely coming with the next big kill team release alongside Striking Scorpions. It's a bit of a strange release, seeing as they're basically just 40k kits with Kill Team rules (I really like KT and the Scout Squad there, but Salvation was not an inspiring KT box).

At this point I think we can all but confirm that they don't intend to give out special units in chapter specific CP boxes. It makes sense from their perspective too. Probably generates more sales.

Still convinced the redacted codex is Emperor’s Children, the last time they used that redacted icon was to hide the Farsight and Lion arks of omen covers- a surprise model update and a major new release. Just covering up an existing faction name wouldn’t justify “hiding” it

You'll get Scouts outside of Kill Team sixth of never, since Kill Team has become how GW updates some units for a decent financial return... but their individual Kill Team box will presumably come along once the stock of Salvation starters they're in stops selling out faster than GW can restock them...

I'd be very sour if the scouts released as a five man squad. I'd hope they would keep to the same formula as other kits for kill team.

As someone less than a year into the hobby I'm happy to be corrected, but packaging the Biologis, Lieutenant, and sternguard together seems a bit out of place other than in a combat patrol Like the sprue in question is double the size of a box it'd likely be sold in, and alterations would be needed to split it in halves so why not split them into three products - or two as the Sternguard kit is already out

I'm hesitant to say the Mystery Codex is EC, I think that is going to be a 2025 release. I'll gladly be proven wrong by GW, but it doesn't make sense to release Fulgrim just yet in my eyes. It's too soon and I think this next cycle, we are going to see Genestealer Cults, Sororitas, and CSM or Chaos Daemons get their codex. Probably CSM because it feels kinda cheap to not give the main faction their codex but give a splinter faction one first, especially one that hasn't been released yet.
