To all saying that “The Falcon” is not “Captain America”….Maybe that is the whole point of the movie….If you watched the same trailer as I did…You see that he understands he will never truly take the place of Steve Roger’s. There has been some suspicion that Sam may have been tested on without his knowledge. Not full super soldier serum but he wouldn't have been able to make the maneuvers and such with the original wing pack and a normal body like he demonstrated in Winter Soldier.

Yes their was a black Captain America in the comics, Josiah Bradley was the very first Black Captain America and now Sam Wilson is the Third Captain America.

Nah, MCU follows its own version of the timeline. It's way more disappointing when you want it to follow the comics. To answer the other question, yes there was a 2014/2015 comic where Falcon became Captain America for pretty much the same reason. Captain America was just old and didn't have his powers (super soldier serum) anymore.

The Marvel movies only kinda follow the comics. Costumes are different, powers are different, all kinds of stuff.
