I wish I could enjoy these "Star Wars" stories but it's unwatchable woke garbage. That may be why I cling to Dune but now I see HBO may also destroy that. I guess time will tell.

@@DirkDiggler1620 There needs to be a realism that is true to the elements in the movie. Realism in events and characters is the only way to suspend your disbelief. It may be sci-fi or horror; it still does not detract from the need for your protagonists and antagonists to follow the rules of the story's universe. Some examples: when your characters do plainly stupid things - just to advance the plot, when happy coincidences move the story along, when characters change demeanour - without any realistic rite-of-passage, when the story becomes subservient to the "message", whatever it might be. The film "Looper" gets high praise, when it should not. Why? Because the director breaks the rules of his own universe early on. That is what causes this time-travel film to be unrealistic: not the fact that there is time travel, but the fact that the story breaks its own, predetermined rules.

I got to the third review and sensed a pattern. Stopped the vid. Came down here to the comments, clicked on "Newest first." Started scrolling. Thank you, frankdrevin, for being you. You saved me from having to watch any more of whatever this is. I agree 100% with your thoughts. On the other hand, "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" were both great and both had alpha strong blk male leads. Then there's everybody's fav, "Alien" with Ripley leading the way. Those three heroes were believable, though. They used their noodles, they didn't use magic.

And probably its going to be crap, that usually happens when u wait that long.. example GoT, Avatar, Black Mirror, Terminator3 and 5he list goes on

Mainly due to terrible writing, so so acting, & scorn for Tolkien.
