I have the Gold palette so I’ll wait until this one is on major sale for the new formulas. It looks gorgeous and I prefer the midi size to work with and store. I did just get the Yucca palette for $48 from Ulta. It arrived with the green shade crumbling and loose in the box. They sent another one and said don’t bother returning the crumbled one. So I’m keeping the first one and gifting the perfect one. :) I’m very excited!

My ONLY WISH IS THAT SHE WOULD ADD MORE OF A DIFFERENCE IN THE SHADES. Once applied , they look the same. Like her Xenon palette. I do love her formula and it’s a nice palette for sure. Her shimmers, metallics toppers. Chefs kiss 💋

As you said this is my nude palette. I have I need a nude but it's not ideal for my coloring. This is all the shades I actually wear 90% of the time. I love it. I have the original Gold palette. But it is pretty old at this point so I stopped using it. So all in all this is prefect for me. Love the looks you did. I can't wait to play around with it some more.

Really gorgeous Sofia!! Love this palette & definitely want it. I’m very into neutrals these days and these tones definitely lean neutral-warm, but not orangey warm, like the ND Bronze palette….which I bought as soon as it was released. I love the simplicity of the looks you created-the ease of how quickly you were able to create both looks which I loved, equally! ❤

I also own the original Gold palette and I enjoyed the dark teal shade in that. I use it for a shadow liner and it’s such a good formula. I just ordered this Golden palette because I am picky when it comes to golds and I think these will be more my style, more neat trail and gently warm. You killed it with the eye looks 💛👌🏼 Stunning job on both! You made that highlighter palette WORK Sofia!! I have t seen many positive reviews on the highlighters but I was pleasantly surprised to see how all 3 shades look amazing on your light skin tone. Using the sponge with the deepest bronze was beautiful!!! High price point for this trio compared to the eyeshadow palette though.

Golden in my perfect version of INAN! Yay!!! My OG Gold is old but still working so I thought I’d wait until it doesn’t perform well to get Golden. That lasted 4 days. I just couldn’t wait to have the updated shimmers! Mine gets here Tuesday!! Nubia! Omg it’s GORGEOUS! I’m glad my beloved Cava is still in Golden. I’m sad Sparks is gone but Aura might take its place for me. Fizzy is absolutely beautiful!!! I know some people are sad the teals are gone, but never use the teals in Gold. I reach for the mattes in the palette several times a week for all sorts of looks, but I never use the blues. I do use Lime Chrome and Brass which are the greenish golds, but I have Yucca which has similar shimmers in the new formula. Eye look #1 is just the perfect everyday look for me!! It’s beautiful! Squee!! The highlighter palette looks stunning on you! I didn’t get it because I thought there was no way I could use all 3 shades… but I was wrong! Even the darkest one was beautiful on you! 🤩 Look #2 also gorgeous!! I love it!

I love the palette-there is nothing lazy about it at all since like you said a out of us don’t have the gold palette-I started using this brand in 2022- I have tried to buy it but it hasn’t been available for a long time!! She needed to either make it available or come out with a midi so I’m glad she heard us. I bought the highlight trio after receiving the palette… I haven’t received it yet but I have to say I did get a lot of buyers remorse immediately after purchasing from Sephora - I should return it before I open it!!!

I do look #2 the most with my old Gold palette. In fact, I just did it last week before the Golden palette was released to see if I needed an upgrade. I don't. I'm just going to continue with the original. Nice that she made a backup though. I love this color story. Thanks for the video!💚

@@SofiaSeesBeauty There are. In fact I wish she had done a duochrome with a bit of peacock in it as an homage, if you will, to the old one. In fact I would have added a couple of duochromes and a black to this new palette. I think it would have increased the number of looks. And the duochromes could have been subtle. But they would have added more interest to it. It is beautiful as it is though.

Thanks for the great review. This new golden palette makes me want to check out her Yucca palette.😆 I agree that this golden palette is very friendly for daily use. But if I were to buy a gold palette, I would want more contrasting colors in depth. Therefore, I am thinking of giving the Yucca palette a try! 😃Maybe you could compare the Golden and the Yucca in your future video? 😉

Look 1 was my favorite, it was such a nice, everyday look and this palette compliments you so well. For my thoughts, I think you're the first person who helped me to get this palette. I think it's beautiful, but I was disappointed that if she was going to repeat shades, why not include at least one or two of the more interesting ones so that there was more variety in the palette? I kept hearing that people who didn't get this palette didn't get her artistry, but when you said she was checking off a box in her collection I get it. It's a solid neutral palette in a beloved formula and you know what? I'm glad she gave people what they wanted. I do wish at least one teal or gold-green had made it in but I get it now. This is much more up my alley than INAN, but I hope we get something special later in the year.

Yes exactly. I haven't watched a single review of this but at least to me it's very clear why she made this palette and how she chose the shades. I think she is in a tough position because she is trying to bring an element of artistry to the average consumer but the data have shown that they want neutral palettes with a few sparkly toppers. She is focusing more on the formulas now instead of fancy color stories. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

It's a basic gold palette so go with the one that you will use more (smaller or larger palette)

Would I use most of the shades in this palette? More than likely. But that’s only because a majority of the shades only have minuscule differences that probably won’t even translate on the eyes.

So this question is ND related but not Golden Collection related: ND has a mini Star eyeshadow palette as well as a mini Starlette eyeshadow palette. I know she has a large Star eyeshadow palette but what does the mini Starlette correspond to in terms of larger eyeshadow palettes? Might this be an upcoming midi release, or does she have a larger palette that I don’t know about related to Starlette?

Hello! Love this collection, but my fave is the packaging it’s so Gorg! I noticed the palette you have the tropic one (blue case) yours seems different from my friends , she has green and blue in there but you don’t! Is that another one called tropic? This is gonna bug me until i figure it out 😅

I don’t mind the similar shades in the palette. I find the ND palettes more fun to use mixed together anyway. Like I mixed some of the retro, retro glam, and the nude to make my perfect woodland fairy color story. The golden I plan to mix with the yucca and bronze for my summer dream palette.

Great review! Unfortunately, all the shades that were removed make this new edition underwhelming and will not work on deeper skin tones. This palette and her last couple shadow releases seem to be a trend where. her “every day” customer and the “ideal” customer does not seem to be tan to deeper skin tones. In the past, her palettes were far more inclusive to include a variety of skin tones across the color spectrum. I love and appreciate her artistry and will keep my fingers crossed that she releases maybe a I need a nude for deeper skin tones or even a deeper gold. I have almost all of her palettes besides the last two palettes (face and golden). Well, I purchased the I need a nude but quickly found that my skin tone was not the “nude” she had in mind. I get the trend of these one and done shadows or palettes so basic that one could apply with little to no effort or thought but it seems that the magic of Natasha Denona is slipping as she focuses on different demographics. This palette as well as the last face palette and uninspiring and bland. I do not say that because they aren’t well suited for my skin tone but that they do not reflect or showcase her artistic style. ND made a complex palette very easy to work with because of how she laid out the palette. One could choose a quad, an entire column, or directional and end of up with a stunning look. Now, they are all so muted, that little ND trick of ease doesn’t matter now. While disappointed, I’m still looking forward to her future launches ❤

Thanks for sharing your perspective! Do you think if there was one or two more deeper mattes this would work for you? I think that was a miss. I think brands like ND and Pat McGrath are leaving the fun color stories up to the indie brands and trying to compete with their formulas instead. Not fun for us makeup lovers indeed

@@SofiaSeesBeauty Absolutely, you do a stellar job of maintaining a place for healthy discussion. It is makeup overall, but some folks feel very strongly about certain things. Yes, had she switched out a couple of those beige shades with something deeper it would have been a YES for me even though I have the original gold palette. I notice the same thing with PML too with all her multiple variations of pink, which I love but once again, I’ve been a PML fan for a long time and every launch now is blah. Not that their quality has diminished (well PML and her removal of special shades is disappointing), but they are all the same. I feel as though ND is a bit more creative than PML with her palettes and is constantly refreshing her lineup to appeal to a variety of people, PML not so much. Simone told her folks like pink, and she has been living there for a few years. 🤣🤣

Hi Sophia, My order for this palette arrived on Wednesday and I have used it daily since then. I find it to be a great color story to practice creating looks that are a bit out of my regular comfort zone. Every look has turned out beautifully! The looks which became too bold for my liking were easily able to be “toned down.” It’s a beautiful palette in my opinion and great for all skill levels. I purchased the gloss yesterday from Ulta, but most reviewers are not impressed. I am still considering the highlighter palette. Thanks so much for your honest opinion of these products. 😊 Susan

Love the gold but the brown mattes are too similar. Might skip this or wait until big sales

The mattes all pulled much more yellow on my skin than they look in the pan. Was hoping there would be more rose and champagne toned gold, but sadly they were all very “yellow” (on me). Beautiful pallet, but I will have to return.

I think its a beautiful palette regardless of repeat shades. I love more neutral-cool shades on me, so i wont be getting it, but i can see the appeal for those who like warmer tones. I also wanted to note that the shade "Flesh" is a repeat shade from another (maybe 2 others) palette. Maybe the mini bronze palette?

I like the 6 new shades she came up with and the fact that the metallics seem less thick than in the original. But the original gold is one of my biggest purchase regrets. It just doesn’t look good on me I disagree that it is neutral leaning warm the only shade that is neutral leaning warm is log Everything else is very warm. The best shades besides cava were brass and lime chrome and she got rid of both. I bought the original after buying the camel which is actually neutral leaning warm and and the only palette of hers I truly loved.

They looks dont wow me as the colors look very similar to other ND palettes i have. If you have Urban Decay Honey that is better

The Honey palette has more of a green undertone to some of the shades. It's a nice palette (I have it) but I don't think the quality is as good

This is such a dull and boring palette! The last few palettes Natasha has made are quite boring and dull. Personally, I think they are not dark skin friendly. I will not be purchasing any of her new palettes.
