If given in measured amounts, garlic is safe for your dog, and this has been shown in veterinary practice with thousands of animals. Please read Dr Susan Wynn's reference text and the section on garlic for dogs and cats here: bit.ly/37Jl1G2

Dr. Jones, My name is Jodie and I've come on to specifically thank you for saving my dogs' life. He had a huge abscess on the side of his neck and we had no money to take him to the vet. Because of your advice, we used the turmeric and essential fatty acid ( sprouted chia seed) for the last 2 weeks. The abscess has shrunk considerably, nearly disappearing. I'm so grateful to you and your holistic advice and will be a forever fan of your channel. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me to help my Bojingles.

This is an excellent natural remedy for people too. My recipe calls for letting the mixture sit for two weeks to twenty days on your counter. Shake your closed glass container everyday and open container to let out air. After two weeks or twenty days put it in your refrigerator. You can eat a spoonful daily if you like. I used this when my son and I had strep throat years ago. It works really well for quite a few ailments. Another recipe I used on myself was to take a spoonful of the garlic honey mixture and add a sprinkle of ginger, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and a few drops of lemon juice. Works super well for relief of a sore throat. I'm not a doctor, but these worked for me.

I am so happy you made this video. As a child my grandmother made a honey, crushed garlic and apple cider vinegar mix that we drank for infections and as a tonic for other health issues. She added salt for topical ailments making it a paste that got all my wounds and booboos well! TY for letting me know grandma was right and that my dogs can benefit from their own natural version. Can you use this on/in cats?

Dr Jones very thankful for all your videos and advise. I was under the impression that garlic just like onions was bad (toxic) for dogs, I guess that was wrong.

Dogs and snow! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Fun time! Now that Spring really does seem to be approaching, the snow is much more tolerable. The dogs will miss it when it's gone, but will I? Mine just came in, wet and slopping, going for the food bowl, then schlurping up the water, to be followed by a long nap in front of the fire. Life is good. Thanks for this Natural recipe, Dr Jones!
