Although we’ve lived in our new Bangkok condo since April 1, this will be our first trip to the local Shopping Centre. Central Plaza Rama III.
Now let’s see what it has to offer.

how do you sleep in the same bed with your wife but have to seat in a different table from her to eat.

In many situations common sense would be applied for seating. However, enclosed restaurants have had stringent restrictions placed on the number of people that are allowed to be seated inside. If the restrictions don't suit your requirements, simply don't eat there. This isn't going to last forever.

Thailand has low number of deaths compared to USA. I don't like that I would be tracked every where I go. I don't even turn on my Google location. It's so Big Brother.

The term ‘new normal’ will be ringing in our ears for the years to come i guess. Thank you for showing us the situation - might be a preview of what we’ll find in our home countries when things restart. The New Normal , I miss the old normal. I miss the crowded restaurants and seeing people enjoy themselves. I just remembered the last time we met and Ta realized I like the best Part of the shrimp 🦐 same as she and the challenge was on. Good times 🍺🦐🦑🦀🙏🏼

Be happy we havent seen one open here yet so far. only shopping i get done is from street level entry to date and that may have changed by the time ive seen this video here in canada. Last shopping trip i had i was asked my age then promptly told im a senior citezen and allowed to jump the que to get in lol, i maybe older and slower but im not dead yet but ill take it lmao...

i was just watching and thought it was same center i was at in February near the park nine hotel but realized it was 30 mins away. looks very similar ..... had a great time great hotel hopefully be back soon... take care....from uk

Even within a family, I am sure that you must still stay 2 metres away as many times as possible. Think about the sickness that can cause the emotional distress. Do it for the short period of time until the virus can be destroyed? It's important to set good example. Glad to hear u have found a place in Bangkok which is a lot closer to your working place - I can never forget the video clip of the long hour trip to work for 6 days/week. Best Wishes.

The app will only be in Thai. If everything is tracking well, perhaps it won't even be in use by the time that tourists start coming back to Thailand. Governments around the World are still learning as they go with how to best deal with this Pandemic. 👍😷🙏

Hi Brad and Ta. This was my regular weekend haunt for my Tops supermarket shopping. Shopping will never be the same again at Central Plaza Rama III 😓 with the extensive procedures put in place, I'll probably grab what I need and head back. I won't loiter around unnecessarily. Stay safe always!

The rules in Thailand are a little different in every Province. In some areas you could be fined 20,000 baht for not wearing a mask when outside your home!

Not so strict in Australia to go into a shopping centre but we did have to give our name and phone number when we went in a cafe and seating restricted to 20 people at a time . No it's not the new normal , only temporary we all hope :-)

My guess is starting from July. 👍🙏 But visitors from countries that are on the "dangerous countries" list may have to quarantine for 2 weeks once they arrive. The guidelines will continue to evolve over time. Unfortunately, there is no rule book for the situation that the World currently finds itself in.

That app your partner uses is only for Thais AFAIK, foreigners will have to sign in and out. I tried to get my daughter's haircut today and was told I couldn't because I don't have the app.

Their 'rules' just don't make any sense. At 3:55 the Thai man is obviously concerned about social distancing in the queue but at 1:48 the Thai lady happily touches Ta's phone screen. Covid-19 can live on plastic for 2 - 3 days and glass up to 5 days. In terms of infection control and cross-contamination, I wonder how many screens she's touched.

It's impossible to be 100% perfect. Everyone do small mistakes like this dozens or hundreds times a day if you really look for it. But I believe that if majority of people follow those precautions, the chance of infection will be really low.

Not strange at all. I guess they don't need to know who is living with who. They just want to prevent and get rid of the trouble if investigated by the officials if any cases. Down to common sense.

I meant that it does not seem practical in the sense that people that do not have a smart phone and or do not speak Thai presents a problem. Dont think this is going to be sustainable.

I visited Siam Paragon today. The process was very simple and takes less than 10 seconds. Just scan and click. Anyone without smartphone can just write down their phone number on paper.

The world you live in with less than 60 deaths is insane, no restaurant can make money with 1 person be table, more likely to die from snake bite or bathtub slip, makes no sense.
