I thought the same thing before playing it, but it doesn't seem like losing the might is that big a deal. Tugo and Lord Riptide are still good enough without it. King Chrum isn't too bad to trigger since he counts as half of the requirements himself and can be played as a finisher instead. Ice Troll is the only one who suffers a lot from missing out on it, but he's just a 4p so its not that bad. The Girdle though would be pretty bad then which is part of why I didn't play it.

Not a bad idea. In my games Riptide doesn't end up with much though. It's very matchup dependent how much Might you get.

@platinumpatrol2964 It can be but I was specifically worried about how easy disrupting might could be. I am running Ring of Favor and am often playing Girdle early. It often flushes out their big plays, gets round control and make disrupting might much more slippery. Add Knickers auto-thinning and then getting to 11 with Evo on the following play, big ogres b/c there are usually at least two 10+ units on the board and it stacks up pretty fast.

It's Nagalfar Taskmaster. Pellar is just more consistent. There's no benefit to playing Taskmaster like there would be in Wild Hunt and there is a downside. If we don't have Dominance we can't purify our own units which is usually what we're using Pellar for. Sure, it doesn't happen that often with Ogroids, but it can be a problem. Since we're already playing non-Devotion Pellar is more effective.

@@platinumpatrol2964 after I posted this I read the card description and realized I was wrong. I thought the pellar only purified enemies.

I considered Aerondight as well for the same reasons. I'll probably try it out. And if you want NG to feel extra miserable with this you can always run Ozzrel like I tried to in an earlier version lol

@@platinumpatrol2964 i actually run it right now but i have yet to go up against Ng and have it stolen 😆 i generally feel like there isn't enough might payoff yet, so having more ogroids released int the future that work in conjunction with the ones we just got would be nice.

@@mamzz5980 Nice. It was good when I was using it but then I played 2 Tactics in a row, didn't draw it one game and in R3 in the other only to have it hit by Coup and that was enough for me to take it out. In all honesty it's probably pretty good in the deck.

Just to have it round 3 in case he managed to win the round somehow. The most likely removal he'd have for King Chrum would be Terror of the Seas which I didn't think would have enough armor that using the Carapace charge would make a difference between him needing to play 1 or 2 of his cards. I mentioned Champion's Charge because that would be the worst thing for him to have since it would kill King Chrum and put him ahead, but I didn't really think he was running it. You can see where I thought about it at the end of my turn before passing where I clicked on and off the end turn button before deciding not to use it.
