Yeah, my games have felt like that too, lately ive been focusing too much on farming and outpathing, but im not ganking as much so my lanes lose and then the game is hard. is there a video about that agurin path? Is there a recall between the blue and golems in your path? Or do you just run all the way?

@@Hubris_LOL Yeah well it does depend on the champ. Graves, nidalee, kindred are still great at invading early. Agurin did make a yt vid for it called "THIS NEW JUNGLE PATH IS BROKEN" lol (reviewing Phylaris's vid of it). He's been using the path every game since. No recall, you just do the straight clear. Immediately base after scuttle to buy items and do a 2nd full clear. It's pure farming lol.

starting wolves is never a start jglers would do. They dont have much info. U are forced to start buff unless ur doing a 3 camp start. At that point just start other side and cross play.

@@Barcodeuser123 Not sure what ur talking about because a wolf strat is pretty common. Its the blue buff side equivalent to starting at raptors, which is also very common. Just depends on the champ and what info you have. Aside from that, you can always start wolves, blue buff, then gromp and do a cheater recall to get an item advantage when you meet at scuttle after u finish ur full clear.

@@blakebethel3757 yea exactly but 3 camp is never ideal unless ur playing a invading champion like graves, kindred, etc. Otherwise full clear is much more effective. I guess you could start wolves if enemy playing aggro jglers, but if they dont invade u lose wolves.

Yeah, jungle is a really beautiful role. The high level of jungling is like playing chess, where there's lots of familiar positions and a lot of the macro is knowing the correct moves when put in certain situations. But then there's lots of room for creativity and thinking outside the box!

That's a good move in that scenario! The only problem you may run into is that some jgs will be good enough to know you're in their top side, and tell their lanes/rotate themselves.

If you're in this scenario on the side that's getting invaded, you're already in a bad spot. Your goal should just be cutting your losses and trying to lose as little as possible, but sometimes you have to give wolves as well.

@@Hubris_LOLSorry was too vague. What happens if you lose the smite fight at gromp as the invading jungler? Essentially, you're now down a camp and have to backtrack to your own jungle to "catch up" is my first thought.

Double jg comps aren't great but invading would help if u did run a double jg comp haha

A variation of this path has existed for a while, but the map changes made the path from raptors to blue a lot faster, so this path is stronger now!

it depends on the game, this path is always raptors>blue/gromp area. The two variations are if you run into the enemy jungler on gromp or not. If you run into them you take their gromp (save smite), and if you dont run into them you take blue then gromp, then decide to either meet them on wolves or just recall.

Great question! Against higher elo players that ward their camps (assuming they start red, and not blue), this path gives you a few options. If you take blue>gromp>then see the enemy jungler walking into your blue side, you can either accept the even trade (called vertical jungling), or rotate to your blue side to defend your camps. If you know the enemy jungler is in your jungle, you can also spam your laners that there's a free kill if they are able to collapse (but that depends on the state of their wave/lane).

Not every jungler will in every situation, but most of the time I meet people at gromp with this path they dont have smite bc they used it on the blue.

It's pretty uncommon for that brush to be warded level 1. It's not impossible but most games it won't be. I think in the scenario that it is warded and you get collapsed on, you just accept that the play won't work and go back to your camps (making sure to leave early enough that you aren't cut off by the enemy laners). And the laners will be lv1-2 so it's hard for them to rotate. I also usually ask my lanes to get prio around this invade if they can.

Chill with ur ego bro xd if you know the enemy jungler can invade your blue side after doing this clear, you skip your red crugs and run to blue side to defend the camps. pulling the enemy laners to come to you in the jungle is very valuable bc it makes them miss minions, and as long as you watch the map you have plenty of time to leave before the laners can rotate.

It's entirely circumstantial, which makes it hard to know in the moment, but what you have to do is judge whether or not you rotating to the play actually matters. Will they die even if you go? Is the fight winable if you show up? If you can salvage the play or help win the fight by going, you should always go, but there are also times where your teammate has dug their own grave and you can't save them from their mistake.

I always save my sweeper, so I can turn it on as I'm walking through the bush from river to blue. If that bush is warded, here are a few typical outcomes: 1. If the enemy jg is on gromp, you can still fight for gromp normally, they probably (not always) used smite on their blue, so even if you walk over vision you can still likely contest gromp. 2. If the enemy jungler isn't starting blue, you can attempt to enter what's called Vertical jungling. Then the enemy jungler can either respond by invading your opposite side, or by coming to their blue side to contest you on their camps/protect them. You have to be very watchful of your minimap to see what is happening. If the enemy jungler is likely to invade your opposite side, tell your lanes to check it for you to maybe find a free kill. At the end of the day, no two games are the same, so you kinda have to just watch your map very closely and respond to what the enemy laners/jg do. Whenever I go for this invade I tell whichever lanes are around the enemy blue side to get prio at lv1-2 if they can (this depends on the lane matchups), and to spam ping me if their laner leaves. If you're in a situation where staying in the enemy jg will get you killed, it's probably better to just leave and accept that the play didn't work the way you wanted it to, rather than dying to the enemy laners and ruining one of your lanes. If all you succeed in doing is forcing the enemy jungler off their gromp, it's an option to recall and run at them when they go try to clear their red side as well, but this depends on the matchup, if you're even or behind in exp, and what state the lanes are in.

In the replay, hold ctrl+shift+z and scroll out with your scroll wheel and you can zoom further. You can also get 3 dimensional shots in the replay as well but idk how to do that

I like there is a deep mind chess game, adc is like all about positioning. even though i am average silver, ive been playing since 09 (not taking serious in rank like pushing my skills and knowledge into the game) I feel like three things, wave management, how to deal damage in lane (trading), and how to optimize items to their team comp is three essentials to master. there is mechanics too. I think those three are important too. I jungle, kite camps, get to the obj closer, raid their blue side, in low elo when you take their camps they dont know what to do so they try to gank. and like they dont know how FOW (fog of war) works. so they reveal their position. also warding is such a key

Smiting first camp is good (unless you get invaded after), because it makes you be lv1 for the shortest amount of time possible in the game, because clearing at lv2 is much easier than lv1

raptors clear is very fast and the walking path from raptors to the enemy blue side is very direct, this path wouldn't work with red start because it would take too long to walk to gromp/blue.

It probably wouldn't have been bad to focus on lee, but he had flash so my priority was just to secure the gromp, and its easier to do that using my q-auto-smite combo. I think ur right, it would have been better to focus lee instead of the gromp to at least force his flash, even though I prob couldn't have killed him.

Yeah that's basically the counterplay. You have two options, one you can enter vertical jungling (invade their blue on the other side of the map), or two you can go to your blue gromp/ping your team to help you protect your camps. Vertical jungling is situationally good, but you have to make sure that the side lane you vertical jungle around is your win condition lane.

No this is not great on evelynn because she's weak at lv2. Eve wants to clear till 6 most of the time, so going for invades like this doesn't play to her win condition.

I feel u, I've struggled with that before as well. What helps me is setting very defined priorities for myself, such as: Ganks/plays>>>camps so that if I see a play, or I know the enemy jg is gonna go for a play, I prioritize countering it/showing up to the fight, over anything else I can do in the moment.

This type of pathing has always existed, low elo jgs are not usually thinking about the game with enough depth to consider these paths, so tbh I'm not too worried about riot removing this path!

Kayn could maybe do this path, but the problem is that kayn isn't that strong lv2. It is probably find but be mindful that if you show up at gromp in certain matchups you may just get dueled and lose as kayn.
