In this video I discuss the GHL Doser 2.2 Maxi, a brand new product that can be used for auto top-off, auto water changes and dosing large amounts of liquid. I have set it up to dose kalkwasser for both of my systems.

Switched to kalk not long ago and love it. I had a reefdose 4 i was utilizing for that. But each head maxed out at 999ml/day. Just bought a versa since consumption is above that.

Looks like a nice piece of hardware. I tried the GHL Profilux for a few months and was terribly frustrated with the user interface though. I ended up selling it for a significant loss and buying a Neptune Apex. The hardware isn't as robust, but at least it's easy to program & there appears to be much more hardware/software improvements than GHL has.

Keith, Question... running this as a stand alone for ATO. I have a float switch that turns a power outlet on/off. Can this unit be plugged in and have power turn on/off the unit without it loosing its settings? would it be bad to use it this way? Thanks, Jim C.

My understanding is that you should be able to do this and not lose the settings. But you should reach out to GHL support to confirm. I should also be able to use a GHL level sensor that plugs into the Stand Alone doser to achieve the same results.

Ha, that is my spare beer fridge.....the beer is now being crowded out by bottles of live phtyo :)

It is really loud unit, it is inposibble to use it in living aparment, only in the garage, build quality is good, but really disapointed for unit loudness, it is unusibble.
