Classic New Order, they always managed to hit that sweet spot between sad introspection and uplifting power. Never grown tired of listening to them.

Ride the rabbit hole and you'll find a whole world of amazing music born of the 80's, Joy Division, Love and Rockets, Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, etc, etc... enjoy!

I remember hearing Tutti Frutti and thinking, 'No other sing on this album' will be as good as this.' But then I heard this song and was immediately proven wrong. This song is magnificent.

I don't comment on KZfaq very much at all, but this band is easily one of my favorite bands of ALL time, and this album has taken them back to their Substance era.....absolutely one of the best albums I have heard EVER!! They have done the inevitable and blew a lot of the EDM acts out of the water with this....WOW!!!

That solo to round the song out in the end was really something else. It terms of the most sublime and addictive melodies, New Order is in a class of their own. Strongly recommend you give Regret a listen if you're unfamiliar

I'm 72 been listening to music since the days of the pirate radios like Caroline but New Order are THE greatest band EVER. I never tire of hearing them - and the great thing is that my 22 yr. old grand-daughter feels the same !!!

I was sceptical about this album , didn't think without Peter hook it would be any good , was I wrong! This song in particular is pure NEW Order , been waiting for this album since republic

I read, from Rolling Stone or somewhere else, that this album is the best since Republic. Amazing work... I hope Pet shop boys would come back w some surprising stuff too. Depeche mode kept releasing great songs.

I miss that day when NW arrived in Porto Alegre, Brazil, back in 1988. I was so pleased to listen to the new album and I hope that we can see the original NW musicians together again, celebrating Joy Division's songs.

this album just confirmed something I know quiet a lot, this kind of band are the creator of this genre and can do whatever they want and sound good. Todays music is influence by this but never be the same. For me one of my favorites album of 2015 (Sorry for my English)

Great track. I'm back listening to New Order in Hulme when the lights were going out in the late 80's in an armoured door deck access flat living with the fear and 'Substance' was like a beam of light in the dark. My life has taken me to places I never would have dreamed of back then but this track takes me right back and may make me cry. Thank you.

Chicago born who has been in love with New Order since '87. I was 14 years old then. Classic NO style rocking song. However, subject & theme wise, it is like a gift to me, 38 years later. I spent most of my life in the neoliberal era: a non-academic academic, surrounded by academics.
