New Order are an English rock group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, backing vocals, electronic drums) and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers).
The band was formed in the wake of the demise of their previous band, Joy Division.
This live is the live which appeared on field Festi Val [FINBSRY] of Britain in 2002.
Moreover, it is the enthusiastic live performed in rainy weather.
*In addition, the subtitles of this video become the Japanese version.

i just wish there was a clearer recording of Ian singing this song...i do love Bernard...but he cannot come close to Ian's depth of emotion when he sings....still....it's a brilliant song...RIP IAN

Ceremony was written by Ian. One of the greatest songs from new order. Ceremony , Your silent Face , Dreams never end. The 3 best songs ever!!!!!!!! Along with Every song from Joy Division! Thanks for the video!

New Order and Joy Division are completely different bands, I agree with previous comments, both different but both outstanding in thier own way. Where Ian C was perfect for Joy Division I think Bernard is perfect for New Order. Many have said New Order we a better studio band than a live band, but for me these Finsbury Park clips on KZfaq show a real, a raw New Order that I love, takes my back to mid / late 80s, takes my breath away.

The lyrics actually were approximated by the band (after Ian died) by listening to the track they had made in rehearsal with Ian-he mumbled and wasnt very clear. These probably are not the actual 100% lyrics Ian sang.

Absolute bollocks. You say something like that and show you know nothing about joy division or new order. It was never about Ian. It's about all of them equally, all the time. And Ian would have LOVED new order.
