Does anyone have a live recording of New Order doing a different song called Perfect Kiss that predates this one? The chorus went, "You gave me the perfect kiss, you gave me the kiss of death" and it had the same hot synth solo in the middle played by Stephen. I got back when Napster was under the radar and lost it in a hard drive crash...I've never heard it anywhere since. Maybe I dreamed it.
