No kidding , they have given serious crimes bonds and are back on the streets , ( I'm sorry ), one scumbag early this years March , April murderd someone , by golly of they didn't fail the citizens in that city by allowing a very low bond , he got out , s ticking time bomb , 3 months later he killed two more people , that's 3 , the sports person in that bad car crash ? 156 miles per hour ran into the back of a poor woman and her dog , him and his passenger somehow survived the other vehicle burst into flames , he was arrested and later posted bond and given an ankle monitor , what the heck ? The list goes on

Vegas doesn’t think it’s a stagnant incompetent city. This solved nothing they let people out on bail look at history of DUI’S? They focus on people with irrelevant past offenses meanwhile even your neighbors can kill you with no consequences. What is this going to do? All this because they fund for stupid frivolous laws like targeting people with old allegations, but when they have to put people in jail they let them go because they don’t want to waste money. How is this going to work exactly? The mark of the beast? What a bunch of dumb people running Las Vegas they sure love branding people with old past offenses but ignore actual violent crime and their history of DUI ~none of these people are astronauts that’s for sure.

Like gun free zones and drug free zones, this won't work to be honest. No way to really enforce the law if you have no way of tracking which person is a criminal unless your literally gonna check every person's ID when they come through. And let's be honest, criminals don't abide by the law, do you really expect a sign to stop them from doing what they want?

F*** the strip worry about being safe when you shop at Albertsons. I was robbed at the grocery store $200 worth of groceries purchased with my food stamps stolen from my card inside the store as I went back to get some more cheese

Well good luck metro. Unless they plan on tagging said criminals with a chip like they do for pets or having them wear some type of monitor that sets an alarm off when the people who arent allowed on the strip end up on the strip... Does this mean that they can't take the bus if the bus goes on the strip? Does this affect gig workers or union workers or other contractors who have people convicted of certain crimes on their payroll or is that an exception?

Banishment seems pretty iffy constitutionally. Like what if you make your living in that area? There needs to be some sort of plea bargain situation: accept the risk of a year in jail or accept a night in jail and a voluntary banishment.

Completely unconstitutional, you can't ban someone from being in public. If casinos want to ban people with a record that's up to them but al long as they're on a public sidewalk or street you can't tell someone they can't be there.

It’s like SOAP probation…conditions of probation for a determined amount of time. caught in the area and it’s a probation violation..jail for the rest of your probation period.
