Lived here in LA all my life and your pronunciations were spot on. All Except for Mayor Moon Landrieu. LOL! Great job! Couldn't tell you were tourists. I've been to the Quarter and the City so many times, (dating, proms, Mardi gras, shopping, hanging with friends, etc. ) but I really enjoyed this. Thank you.

You were able to experience a Second Line for the bride and groom…a part of the wedding celebration. Umbrellas and napkin waving are mandatory accessories while dancing. 💃🏻

Loved your tour through New Orleans! I love Cafe Beignet but I went to the one on Bourbon; didn’t know about the one on Royal. The one on Bourbon is outdoors and has statues and music. Amazing beignets.

We took an early morning walk in the Quarter. 7am. Water and suds trucks spray the streets and ladies of the evening having a smoke. And then the tourist places open up. Love NOL

I'm way overdue for another visit to New Orleans. Thank you for some new ideas! I've been to Cafe du Monde of course (original location and Riverwalk location) but not Cafe Beignet. Very nice photos, Dee! Loved the parade! SciFi and New Orleans parade is the best of everything!

The hand grenade drink was one of the worst things ever. Just a weird taste, almost medicinal. This was a great tour of the city!

One if my favorite cities!! My very first cruise was out of NO.Love the French Quarter. Great city for food. Ate dinner at Court of Two Sisters - the brunch looked wonderful. Love the architecture there. We’re going to Pais in November for a cruise and can’t wait to see that architecture! Cool to see the parade! I really enjoy your videos, Dee and Jay. You do and see the things I would like to do!

The last time I was in New Orleans was September 1978. However we are headed there in July 2024 for a B2B. We are going to be there for 2 days prior. What i have seen on your video it has changed a lot. It does look quite a bit cleaner. Glad to see that the market is still there, but it is much larger than I remember. Were the painters and other artists down in the Market still? Looks like the night life there has calmed down quite a bit. Great video!!!

You did pretty good with your pronunciations. Except for Moon's last name is pronounced Lan-Drew. Oh and the building to the left of the Cathedral if you're facing it is called the Ca-bill-doe. Glad you guys had fun in my city and got to see some of Carnival season. 😊

@tod2992 Technically, yep! The Norwegian Breakaway "Vlogger Extravaganza" cruise, which will be a little bit of a choppier series for us, as we weren't able to vlog as much as we normally do. We were enjoying meeting and hanging out with the massive group of awesome folks onboard for the cruise!! :D ~Jay

Probably daily on the Breakaway series, yes. The videos are much shorter and choppier than our normal videos due to the fact that we were mostly stopping to meet folks and hang out on this cruise, so it will definitely be a different kind of series, ha ha... Vision Of The Seas was actually one of our favorite cruises in recent memory. We forgot how much we enjoy the personalized experience of a smaller ship!! :D

Grandure of the Sea is still our family fav...we allll love the connection to the SEA from ...well...it seems...everywhere on the ship 🤗 our 7 year old newphew said ..."i don't like the MALL ships or the chucky cheese ships i like em to feel like my nana's house cozy and safe!" best ship review EVER 😀
