This song is my fave and it still gives me goosebumps. She had severe pneumonia when singing this song and, ironically, that might have a positive effect on her performance, I think. I start my day listening to her songs or watching videos about her, of course, over an americano and it has blown things like 'Monday blues' away from me. :)

I believe she had the cancer back in her early 20's. She is 40 now. Now in this video, she is singing this with full on pneumonia. She just saw a Dr before going on stage, and they told her not to speak, so with weak lungs and a bad throat., she did this.

Give me a second I'm shook, she has the ability to carry that lite airy angelic sound through every bit of her very large range even in her chest voice where it becomes a bit bulkier, that's difficult because only a select few vocalist are able to achieve that and it's only in there head voice/falsetto. The skill she has and the idea that the entire world isn't familiar with her is a travesty, the woman is a treasure!
