Funny to watch. Great editing. I guess the actors get some credit too, like those sea gulls =)

Just seeing themselves on the screen and reading the comments is rewarding enough 😊

The sea looked so calm. Looks like you had a nice cruse. But you only show us the fun stuff. That's pretty good how the captain got the ship in the right position to pick up the drowning dummy. Thanks for another great episode

We have had two trips of remarkably good weather. No doubt we will pay for it this winter??

Looking forward to that episode :)

I would like to say that I'm looking forward to filming it but not so sure :( :(

I was just thinking... If I was at sea for a month I would have more than 13:28 minutes of video...
@Bigwavemaster17 жыл бұрын
I film countless hours every trip. I then have to whittle it all down to interesting size bites that depicts what has happened that month. Make each clip too long and people loose interest.

It was a very busy day. It was the same day that we struggled to get that big lump of net on board. Only a few seconds on my video but it actually took us most of the day!!

Thanks for the link to this video. I see our boat in it. 👍🏻 good videos too, good editing, snappy, I'm impressed. That's on the contender, eh? Thanks for sharing that.

Hello captcroft, thanks for the view and compliments. I've made a video of every trip for the last three years and always try to include other vessels in the area as a point of interest. Yes, this was filmed on board the Contender. Would it be you I spoke to on the radio asking for vessels name for my 0600 report? Hope you've "Liked" and subscribed? ;)

No it was the other skipper that was there. We will probably try there again in May next year so maybe catch you then. You can come over for a top up for your freezer if you like. 🎣 all the best.

Look forward to that one. It's been a few years since we had a fry

i love how you cut the video. they clean the deck...seagull takes a shit...everyone cleans again ;D

Sometimes it's like a scene from an Alfred Hitchcock film as the gulls fight each other for a bit of space. You can imagine the cleanup operation after that???

i certainly hope so as well the onshore fracking has hurt the industry so badly here in the U.S.
@Bigwavemaster17 жыл бұрын
It'll do doubt go the same way here. It's so much more expensive to get out of the ground in the middle of the orth Sea. The only thing preventing most fracking over here is local opposition.

Great to watch as usual... must do something similar for the Seafarers Centre... if only I had the time! :o)

Thanks for the comment , Howard. It is very time consuming putting them all together but, as the years go by, they are good to look back on.

''like painting the forth bridge'' springs to mind! Is the boat painted on a schedule or just as and when?
@Bigwavemaster17 жыл бұрын
It is a bit like the Forth Bridge :) These boats take quite a battering in the winter so we take every opportunity for maintenance when the weather permits and we are not busy doing other things.

Yep We film some of the largest waves ever caught on camera. We work with 2 oil platforms that can accurately measure wave height so no guessing or exaggeration. Enjoy 🌊🌊 kzfaq.info/sun/PLG-lkGl9kpwSEoYG5fJ3pwqVNZaDivv7z And Meet the Crew kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hZ57l9pjx5_HdYU.html

There used to be a few helicopters stationed on platforms in the North Sea for SAR. We used to do quite a lot of training with them.
