I still like to play balance with my Aromas. Even though you can't activate your effects during your first turn, effects that do not require activation (having more LP than your opponent) do still work. So Cananga will still decrease opponent's attack on all face up monsters by 500. Jasmine becomes a decent defense at 1900 for the first turn. And you can gain LP while having Rosemary on the field, without changing yourself to defense (assuming there is no other target to change). Marjoram as hand trap still works, as it won't be your first turn anymore when your Aroma monster is destroyed by battle. I agree the balance changes IS a nerf, but I don't think it breaks the deck.

Solem Scolding is better option than the humid winds. There’s also a trap card called Appointer of the red lotus that banishes a card from your opponents hand.

I've been using Aromages since day 1. Glad to see them be top tier in Dkayed's hands

I didn't knew about the nerf of the Aromages until i used them again with my old deck, but funny enough, i won practically every duel i played with them, and i'm using "balance" (with Kaiba, because i wanted to level up with him and get "The Melody of Awakening Dragon"). Even with the nerf, Aromages are very strong (and yes, sometimes y almost lose because of the time limit, but after some duel i learned again to use efficiently the time)

I've been using a custom Necrovalley/Gravekeeper deck and this looks interesting to switch to so I can play something else and hopefully win more.

this is the exact deck i use but scolding instead of dried winds also with malev sin , kochi kochi dragon, and dweller for the extra deck

I tried using this deck and replacing 1 of the 3 humid winds with scolem scolding and I bricked many times with pulling 2 of the same trap and opening with just a rosemary or canaga. I think aromage is too weak after the balance hit.

Oh...this is why my dueks were 75% BEWD 25% aromage 😔. Started playing them about a month ago and they are soooooo good. So fun!

Yeah I clapped a lot of BE with Aroma but after balance nerf I did'nt dare go in.

The most interest thing is when aroma meet aroma. You shall not make any mistake.

Almost more than three time aroma can beat meta deck. How funny and brilliant cause I invest in this deck before it release in box

I still think balance works still fine with that somehow bc if u have only gardening & rosemarry u can summon her, use gardening effect for gaining 1K & Rosemally sont switch her position. If u only use the small monster u could also run "my monster cards" as a skill bc fitting 6 LV4 or lower monster shouldnt be an issue

I play aromage with Dino dna and its very effective but even though i have pay more than 3.5k gems i still didn't get a humid winds

Ah, Aromages, the only deck that lets you vomit your whole deck in few turns, never run out of cards, easily get a Ra with 10k atrack points and still end up with more LP than your opponent. I usually put one Bergamot for the hell of it. Wonder why it isn't more played.

My Aromage deck is a bricky deck with Synchro monsters that still works. No staples, no assisting plants, no plant-buffing cards, just strong aromas.
