I love how you both are adopting special kids because all kids NEED a home. All kids needs love and compassion care. Many refuse adoption by kids with many or minimal issues medically. That may NOT even be the reason for your adoption but I love the thought. Thank You so much for adoptong because again many don't and it breaks my heart. My dad had epilepsy from the age of 6 until the age of 24 and it didn't stop him from being and awesome student and amazing dad (was a dad when he was 21). The only thing the he still struggles with because of his epilepsy is that sometimes his shoulders pop out of their place, but it's not a big deal, he just puts them back into place lol

I’ve worked in a Sunday school nursery and worked for them them when they had mid week bible school and I’ve been buddy with a few nonverbal kids (we usually have a few buddies for them including staff, volunteers, and kids just to help guide them and to make sure someone has an eye on them at all time) and they are honestly some of the sweetest kids I’ve ever met and I wouldn’t mind adopting a nonverbal child in the future

You guys have such a beautiful heart so i hope you don't take this the wrong way I don't believe that this little boy would be the right fit for you guys The reason i say this is because of his needs and what he requires you don't have available for him in your area and to wait for him to be air lifted to hospital is to dangerous for him thats minutes for him waiting to be air lifted is life or death for him you guys have a duty of care to this little boy to put his medical needs first its just a pity you don't have these facilities in your town Love & blessings from Australia ❤

I totally believe what you said about God. I am 67 and I told my customers I would have to work till I could no longer work. THEN came covid. That's such an amazing coincidence that a boy Aurora's age with a similar condition has come into your lives! Hopefully, regardless of whether he becomes a sibling of hers, they will be a resource and friend to one-another for years to come! I have a rare condition, and meeting others with my condition has been one of the most empowering things for me as I've grown up! I'm 22 now, and I honestly think I wouldn't be as independent as I am if not for the community I've found! Having people who understand what I'm going through is one of the most empowering things ever!

Just a little tip! I would go to the dmv and just get familiar with driving in that area just to get a little more comfortable with those streets! Just don’t intentionally follow someone who is taking their test, as I have heard that to be illegal and at times they reschedule your test. However just driving to get a general sense of the area is perfectly fine and will ease the anxiety :)

I think it's wonderful that you have such an open heart and help all of these children. My concern is that you would be taking in too much. You haven't even fully adopted the 2 new ones, they are still being acclimated to their new life. Adopting this child would require so so much attention to his needs and medical conditions which are very severe. I feel like he would do well with a family that has 0-2 children so they can really focus on him. In my opinion I feel like your attention needs to be fully invested in your new children and the rest of your kids.

I think your family is amazing and love watching you. You have the biggest heart in the world. That being said, there are only 24 hours in a day. If you overextend yourself with an 2nd child that has these issues, it could eat up years of time from the other children. They need you so much. They need your love and attention. Your family is so loving and open to bring more children in. I just don't want you to be pulled in so many directions that you miss the connection with the older kids that you could have had. You really are an angel on earth! On a side note, you might end up having two kids sleeping in your bedroom. That is very hard to find that time for your relationship. Hugs to you and your family.
