Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated the new Putuonuo Hospital Complex at Daklane in Kohima on 6th July 2024. Speaking at the inauguration, Rio elaborated that accessing healthcare services outside not only involves the patient but the families and caregivers and, therefore, gaining access to healthcare services at our doorstep fulfills many needs of the community. Rio said the hospital is Equipped with the latest medical technology and designed to offer a welcoming and healing environment, this facility is a beacon of hope and progress. Managing Director of the hospital, Doctor Kezevituo Keditsu shared the initial journey of the nursing home in 1990, named after his late mother Putuonuo.
