My wish is to meet Gregg. He is a musical genius. I'm from Michigan not far from Grosse Pointe & hope one day to meet him. This song got me thru the loss of my newborn son, the father of that son dumping me. The death of my best friend who was killed in a snowmobile accident 8 months before my son was born. I went thru it all alone. My ex husband who used to beat me & taking me to court weekly to try to control me after it took me 10 years to find an attorney to take my divorce case, since his dad was powerful in our small Michigan town. I dared to leave his drunk, abusive son! I work as an RRT & my job is beyond stressful. I was diagnosed with SLE given 2 to 5 years to live. All in one year. 1998 to 1999 was a horrific time for me. I played this song non stop as I walked to relieve the stress. Played it on the way to work & home from work. This song is my anthem. I can't thank Gregg enough for these words. I'm still standing. Stronger but wiser & happier than I should be allowed. "I've got the music in me."

Song is pure magic, getting back in time when for sure world was more authentic place, people were hanging around, and everything was more human. Gregs voice is superb, out of this world. What I dont like is that he sang this for Bidens son, and also that core and soul moment, and why this song was on one side revolution against filthy, corrupt system, not human system, is where he is singing about FDA, etc... And to be honest, we all know why he was not alowed sing this part of the song.... I would also add this song and Bittersweet Simphony are for sure TOP 5 Anthems of 90s..

Everyone here talking about how his voice is still good -- this is not a live performance, he's lip-syncing to a pre-recorded track. Look at 3:42: points to the camera, then immediately after cutting to the other camera he is NOT pointing. These are two different takes yet the audio continues seamlessly. It's playback.
