A bit outdated for my taste personally, but definitely a fresh scent suited for places like the gym, the barber, or when you're carrying out your day to day activities. I was fortunate enough to be gifted the fragrance but the prices on discounters just won't budge

Big fan of the original Polo Sport.. it's a nostalgic fragrance for me, but it still holds up and can even be considered as "timeless" IMO..

I just picked a bottle of the new stuff and I'm disappointed. It's not quite the same as the 90's stuff and it lasts about 30 min max...

My father wore the original Polo Sport throughout the 90's. I recall it being a very powerful fragrance with a similar smell to Versace Dylan Blue. It's been reformulated horribly to where it no longer smells the same or last long.

I just bought a bottle of polo sport last month and it smells exactly how I remember it, but yes the longevity is absolute trash.

@Winnie Nguyen Hey I totally remember Polo Sport much better in performance too, could smell it from far. All the new Polos and lots of other frags really lack in performance. Dylan Blue is amazing! Gotta be the top Blue/Fresh scent today! Versace is Quality 👍 Btw ever get to smell Invictus Victory yet? Holy smokes powerful! 🤩

Hey Ash, great vids. You ever think about doing a video on the origin/journey of gents scents? What made you take the leap to start doing KZfaq? How many fragrances did you have when you started? What kept you going in the beginning days? How did you start getting traction? Did it turn out how you thought? What did you learn? How did your nose evolve? What are your goals/vision for the channel now? I still get a kick out of some of your older videos lol plz don’t delete them :)

I grew up with polo sport. Great memories. Great smell. I must say that I am a big fan of the old fragrances. I can have one new edition, but I will always have my old school backup. Sadly in my country they just sell the new fragrances. I just bought the PS Fresh and tried on for the first time. If I had to choose, without a shadow of a doubt would chose the first PS. Let’s see if it grows on me later. Great review by the way. Thanks.

As a kid, I loved Polo Sport, and I really like Polo Red Intense now, but that's about it from their line. I bought Polo Gold Blend last year, which claims to be an EDP, and it had terrible performance and smelled like a basic body wash.

I noticed while testing Polo Sport Fresh that when your skin heats up it starts coming alive & projecting again. I was cleaning my car on a hot day and started to sweat and all of a sudden started to pick it up again. Still a 'meh' fragrance though.

A bad atomizer can effect the entire fragrance experience that's for sure. Maybe it's not a huge deal but it's not a small deal either

What’s strange is this came on in some uk stores but they immediately put it on sale. There’s a big thing in uk stores advertising Ralph’s club but this new polo sport fresh just got heavily discounted straight away here. Not sure what £20 is in dollars but you could pick up a small bottle of this for that price full retail.

I’m new to your videos and find them informative and entertaining. I’ve noticed in recent videos you include batch codes. You had a negative reaction several posts ago to a particularly long batch code. (Sorry, can’t remember/cite the product.) Would you please explain the significance of these codes on fragrances for the uninitiated? PS: Really enjoy your “Guess/Rate the Fragrance” vids with your wife - looks like you two have a lot of fun together!

They can show you which year they were made. Some bathes of a certain fragrance might be awesome from say 2016 but the company can mess with the formulation so a 2020 batch might not be as long lasting or as nice as the 2016 ones. Google fragrance batch codes and theres a site you can put them in to see when they were made etc 🕺🏻

@06:50 shouldn't you always spray any fragrance from 3 inches away? Seems like if you are farther away then a lot would get lost no matter what fragrance is used.

Hey Ash, hoping you can help me. I’ve been searching for a new summer scent but having a problem. Just ordered a few trays bit getting an odd, “musty” and just bad smell off 3 of them; Bvlgari Aqua Marine, D&G Sun & Polo Sports Fresh. Any idea what could be making these 3 smell funky to me? I absolutely LOVE D&G Italian Love so it’s not one of those common notes. Hope you can give me some ideas 🙏

What a disappointment. This house could have used the opportunity to bank on its reputation and name and develop a beast product but instead came out with a cheap remix 27 years later.
