this is brilliant! really nice extension! i do have a question, i can't manage to place randomly a component, it doesn't show up a window to set this command. I even have the component in a different tag from the ungrouped faces.

Skatter is still better for some things, since it offers a lot more customization, but don't forget that this plugin is free! But regardless of all the other tools, Just because of the last tool, randomizing the texture position, is a must have for everyone. I LOVE IT

Quite a clever set of random tools that do a variety of jobs. I’ve had two tasks recently, 1) a variety of candies/sweets thrown in a basket and 2) fruit packed in crates with regular plastic separators. Using the vertex tool on a grid followed by random placement in “normal” position I got a good approximation of 1) with minor object overlaps, but not very good for 2). Ideally for 2), the angles need random changes in 3 dimensions with the regular spacing. A great plugin though thanks.

Hello, great tutorial, I was following it to understand how the plugin works, so I needed something similar for a project I'm working on (in fact since I made that Frog Model (I know you missed it , you can find it on Slug Organic 3D), some one saw it and he needs me to build some "Reptiles" assets for an educational app, they has to be high quality and at the same time low poly so I'm going to be making both ) My Question : - I need to place a component randomly on faces, but I need the number of component to be placed on the face to be relative to the size of the face and how much it can hold without intersection between component, so any suggestions ? need it ASAP.

Mr. Ahmed, randomize texture positions do not work properly. I tried with group object doesn't work. After that, I explode all of them it was worked but not the same as yours.
