The downside is cramped rear quarters - the Evoque's sloped roofline eats into headroom for taller passengers. Cargo space is also merely adequate at 21.5 cubic feet behind the second row. If you need more room, you'll want to move up to the larger Range Rover Sport or flagship Range Rover.
Refined Yet Spirited Performance
Under the hood, buyers have a few powertrain options ranging from a 246 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four to a 296 hp plug-in hybrid setup. The PHEV pairs the gas engine with an electric motor for 37 miles of electric range. Regardless of what's underhood, the Evoque delivers a refined driving experience with plenty of straight-line oomph when you need it.
An available air suspension helps smooth out rough pavement, while retaining its trademark off-road prowess thanks to standard all-wheel-drive and generous ground clearance. The Evoque may never see much more than a muddy trail, but it's comforting to know the capability is there just in case.

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque continues to turn heads and turn drivers onto the brand's blend of luxury and off-road ability, all wrapped in a stylish, fashion-forward package. While not the roomiest or most practical compact luxury SUV, the Evoque makes up for it with its curb appeal and premium vibe.
