get a HBX 901a, pro version

I would snatch that up in a heartbeat! My next video(probably) coming out this Saturday will be on the HBX 901A. It’s still a 1/12 but it’s brushless and awesome. Somewhat Similar to the 16890. 👍

Most HBX bodies are decent. Not that one lol. Have you seen our video on the HBX 901a? That’s basically the brushless version of this truck. We will be doing 3s on them all!

Both fun in their own way. This truck wasn’t all that fast, but it handled great so it was still fun to go full speed into turns. The 901a brushless is much quicker so of course fun to jump, but didn’t handle quite as well. We also just got the 2995 which I’m excited to run very soon.

Not yet, but I will be. I have the 903 wheels on the 16890 like I show in the video and they’re great! Definitely will be putting them on the 901a for a comparison.

I did not have a Speedometer when I made this video, but I would guess 16 mph

The dog bone driveshafts to the wheels are plastic, but the long center driveshaft is metal.

That car doesn’t have excessive power. Still very fun. The HBX 901a that I also did a review on, does have metal driveshafts and those shafts will work in this truck. So metal upgrades are available for it.
